Some of our ladies enjoyed a lovely night out at Hillmount Nurseries, where they were treated to tea, festive treats, and a little Christmas shopping to finish off the evening. 🎄🛍️✨

Our festive calendar continues with a wonderful visit from the amazing Stormont Community Choir, who led us through a beautiful selection of Christmas carols. 🎶✨
The corridors were filled with the true sound of Christmas!

WHAT a day!! 🎄
The Kirk House Christmas Lunch is truly the best time of the year (as the song goes!). Not only do all our residents come together to celebrate, joined by some very special guests, but there’s always the chance that Santa himself might make an appearance — and he hasn’t let us down yet!

With wonderful food, festive cheer, and great company, we all had a truly lovely time.

Back to the subject at hand- Our Kirk House team have an unused garden space, and so they set about fundraising to make it a usable and special space for our residents to enjoy. We are glad to report that through braving the wind and the rain up on Divis, they managed to raise a wonderful £925 which will go a long way to achieving their aims.

Massive well done to the Kirk House team. They are so good that AI made a comic strip in their honour.

From an organisational standpoint, we aren't massively into trying to guilt trip people into supporting our team fundraisers....but....

🎨✨ As Bob Ross once said, "Everyday is a good day when you paint."

On Wednesdays, our residents with dementia take part in an art project led by Anna O’Kane. These sessions have quickly become a highlight of the week! 💜

The results are simply amazing, and we’re excited to show off our artwork that will be displayed in an upcoming exhibition! 🖼️👏
