💜We're delighted to see the Causeway NI Hospice Support Group's Celebration Event has been successfully rescheduled!

After the earlier cancellation due to the storm, this special evening will now take place on Sunday 24th March at 7pm in Cloonavin, Portstewart Road. It promises to be a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together to celebrate the incredible support shown to Northern Ireland Hospice.

Events like this highlight the dedication, generosity and community spirit that help make hospice care possible for so many local children, adults and families.

A huge thank you to the Causeway NI Hospice Support Group and everyone involved in organising this evening. Your continued support means so much. 💜

We’re delighted to announce that our Causeway Support Group Celebration has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 24th at 7pm, following the cancellation in January due to Storm Chandra.

Thanks to the warm welcome from the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, we’re returning to Cloonavin, Portstewart Road for an evening of community, gratitude, and celebration.

This Thank you Thursday, we'd like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful friends at That Prize Guy. 👏

We were delighted to partner with Prize Guy once again, whose platform helped raise an incredible £45,000 in support of Northern Ireland Hospice and Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

Our lucky winner, Debbie, had the choice between taking a car provided by Donnelly Group or £20,000 in cash… and she decided to take the cash!

Debbie shared that her win felt especially meaningful. She was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago and is still going through treatment at the moment. She entered the competition because of the cause it was supporting and couldn’t believe her luck when she got called to tell her the news. 💙

We are so grateful to everyone who took part and helped raise vital funds for local hospice care. Your support will make a real difference to patients and families who rely on our services every day.

It’s 💜

A heartfelt thank you to the organising committee, the incredible staff, and the wonderfully generous customers of Mc Laughlin’s Bar, Belfast for raising a phenomenal £8,000 at their annual December fundraising event in support of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

This fantastic group have been fundraising for over 25 years, and with this year’s amazing contribution, the overall total raised has now reached an incredible £150,000.00! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success. 🙌

We are proud to share these photos of our very own Jenny Donnan, Staff Nurse in our Inpatient Unit, officially receiving her MBE for her outstanding services to palliative care in Northern Ireland.

Jenny has long been a cornerstone of compassionate care at the Hospice, dedicating herself to patients and their families with unmatched empathy and skill. Her recognition is a proud moment for our entire team and the broader palliative care community.

Jenny said: “I just wanted to say thank you to those who took the time to nominate me for this award. It was truly lovely to go to Windsor Castle and receive this honour from Princess Anne, recognising the work of hospice care.

“I can say with my hand on my heart that, for me, working as a hospice nurse is the most rewarding vocation. It is such a privilege to come alongside patients and families at the most difficult of times and to be part of the wider hospice team, working together to help make that difficult journey a little easier. This award belongs to all of us and to the patients whose courage inspires us to continue in the work we do.”
