KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) is a copper-zinc redox media. It works via an electrochemical redox reaction rather than adsorption and breaks down the contaminant into less harmful substances.

New research led by the University of Exeter found that when common non-antibiotic drugs (like painkillers or diabetes medication) mix with antibiotics in our waterways, they help bacteria become antibiotic-resistant.
