Why does it look bumpy straight after polynucleotides?

Immediately after treatment you may notice small raised areas under the skin.

This is completely normal.

Polynucleotides are placed superficially in tiny micro-droplets. These small deposits can look like little bumps at first, particularly in thinner skin such as the under-eye area.

They gradually settle as the product disperses and integrates into the tissue — typically within 24–48 hours.
Mild redness and swelling are also expected short-term responses.

Results develop progressively as part of a treatment course.

This client hadn’t had lip filler for around 18–24 months.

A common misconception is that filler simply “disappears evenly.

In reality, it rarely breaks down symmetrically.

Over time:
• Filler metabolises at different rates
• Small amounts can remain in some areas longer than others
• Natural lip tissue loses structural support
• Subtle asymmetries become more noticeable

The result?
