“ ANXIETY ISN’T THE ENEMY, IT’S A MESSENGER”.

🤓 It often shows up to tell us we are out of alignment with our needs, boundaries, or safety. Instead of trying to get rid of anxiety, try listening to it.

🤓 Here are a few gentle practices to manage anxious moments:

1. Name what’s happening.
Labeling your emotion (“I’m feeling anxious”) activates the thinking brain and reduces intensity.

2. Ground in the present.
Use your senses — notice 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, 1 you can taste.

3. Soften the body.
Anxiety lives in tension. Relax your jaw, drop your shoulders, and exhale slowly.

4. Meet anxiety with compassion.
You’re not broken, you’re human. Anxiety is just energy asking for understanding and safety.

✨ You don’t have to fight your anxiety. You can learn to move with it.

It’s been a while since I posted here, so I wanted to reintroduce myself and share what I do, in case you or someone you care about could use support right now.

I’m a Psychotherapist who specialises in helping people work through:

💔 Relationships - navigating love, conflict, and connection
