POV: Someone asks what you did this weekend


Here’s the thing, we all deserve to kick back, switch off, and just relax sometimes. But when you’ve worked hard all week, there’s no guilt, no “should’ve done more,” just pure enjoyment. đŸ’Ș

Some days, the sofa wins. The alarm goes off, your bed feels way too cosy, and the last thing you want to do is move. I think we can all relate, we’ve all been there.

But here’s the thing: progress doesn’t come from the days you feel amazing, it comes from the days you show up anyway. From the mornings you drag yourself to the gym, from the evenings you push through one more rep, from the times you choose yourself over excuses.

I’ve seen women walk into Phoenix Fitness feeling unsure, tired, or self-conscious
 and six weeks later, they’re walking taller, smiling wider, and feeling like they’ve taken back a part of themselves they’d forgotten. That’s what happens when you keep showing up.

It sounds simple, but let’s be real, getting fitter, stronger, or healthier doesn’t happen overnight and it’s not about smashing yourself to bits in one session. It’s about showing up, sticking to your goals, and moving even when your brain is screaming “nah, not today.”

Progress is built in the small, consistent choices: choosing to move instead of staying still, choosing to focus on your goals instead of letting excuses win, and trying your absolute best even when “best” feels like a tiny step

Those small wins add up, and before you know it, you’re stronger, fitter, and way more proud than you thought possible. The hard days make the progress worth it.
