The practice is closed on Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday.
The practice will reopen at 8.30am on Wednesday. Emergency appointments are available on Wednesday. In case of a severe dental emergency ring the practice before 1.00pm.

Update on provision of dental treatment at Knock Dental Surgery.
We have been advised by the Department of Health to stay open and continue to provide dental services. At Knock Dental we have sufficient PPE and enhanced operating procedures to keep our staff and patients safe.
If you have a dental problem please call the practice 02890401851.
Patients in pain or who are in mid treatment will be prioritised.
Please do not attend the practice if you have any COVID-19 symptoms or have been advised to self isolate.
If you have a serious dental problem and are confirmed or suspected Covid case ring the practice for advice.

Update on provision of dental services at Knock Dental.
The practice is open from 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
The provision of dental treatment has changed due to the risk of Covid 19 infection. Increased levels of PPE which is difficult to obtain, along with the requirement to leave the surgery for one hour following treatment and before cleaning have reduced our capacity to treat patients.
We have secured a limited supply of PPE for aerosol procedures.
Aerosol procedures include scaling (tooth cleaning) and fillings involving drilling.
Adequate PPE is available for non aerosol procedures such as check ups, denture work, temporary dressings and extractions.
If you require an appointment please call and speak to the surgery staff, who will advise you on the current cost of PPE for aerosol procedures. The cost of PPE for non aerosol procedures will be covered by the practice.
If you require emergency treatment requiring an aerosol treatment this can be organised following an assessment appointment.
The sourcing of PPE is under constant review by the practice owners.
We are also adding a fourth surgery to the practice to enable us increase the number of appointments available.
Dentists and support staff are now back in the practice and we are working hard to get back to providing dental treatment for our patients.

The practice is open today for emergency treatment please call the practice before attending.
We are working towards reopening for routine dental treatment in July.
We will be contacting patients who were mid treatment at the start of lockdown along with patients on the waiting list soon.
Dentists in practice today are Marie Johnston and John Houston.

Dentists are available in the practice every day. An emergency number is available to contact a dentist at the weekend. If you have a dental problem please call 02890401851 to speak to a dentist.
Dentists from the practice are also working in Urgent Dental Care Centres.
Referral to the UDCC can be organised for patients in extreme pain whose pain cannot be managed by the dentists in the practice.
