New Regional Standards for Person-centred Nursing and Midwifery Documentation have been developed and approved for implementation within HSC and Independent Sector organisations. They support consistent, high-quality, person-centred documentation across all care settings, in both digital and written formats.

To ensure successful implementation, all nursing and midwifery organisations should champion these Standards within their teams and support staff awareness by integrating into local processes and everyday practice.

The Standards will be launched on a webinar with Linda Kelly, Chief Executive, NIPEC. The webinar will be facilitated by Gary Cousins, Senior Professional Officer, NIPEC, alongside Lisa Dullaghan, Assistant Director of Nursing, Safe and Effective Care, SEHSCT and Fiona O’Neill, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Information Officer, NHSCT at 1pm on 27 March.
