Fantastic day at our annual Flavour of Psychology hosted by the School of Psychology QUB. We presented to 350 A Level students from all over Northern Ireland. This was the first in a series of events to mark 70 Years of the NIBPS

For many young footballers, Christmas wasn’t about celebration, it was about being told their dream is over.

"At worst, we have seen young people turn to crime and self-harm, and suffer great psychological trauma after they're released from academies." Stephen Smith, our Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology Chair.

This is why we’re campaigning for psychological support, so that every player has the care they need when the game changes.
