Queen's LOL 1845 LOL 1845 is a Lodge of limited purpose for students, staff and alumni of the Queen's University, Belfast.

The Rising Sons of William (The Queen's University of Belfast) L.O.L. 1845 is an Loyal Orange Lodge of Limited Purpose comprising Orangemen who are Staff, Students or Alumni of The Queen's University of Belfast. The purpose of the Lodge is to; promote Orangeism at The Queen’s University of Belfast and her associated Colleges, provide opportunities for networking and social interaction among its Members, provide opportunities for alumni Members to support current student Members and unite in fraternity, past and present orange students, staff and alumni of the University.

This morning the Worshipful Master and Deputy Master took part in the Annual Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in front of Queen's University Belfast. The procession was led by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Sir Ian Greer DL. Wreaths were also laid by the QUB Orange Society.

Come along to our information evening about Grants, Bursaries & Scholarships available through the Loyal Orders. It has been arranged to allow students to find out more about the funding possibilities available and to give them opportunities to engage with the Orange community at our homeland universities, but also applies to all Further and Higher Education.

At the clinic there will be representatives from the various Loyal Order’s funds and bursary providers, as well as the Student Orange Societies and University Lodges. It is also a chance to see the Orange Student Centre at Drew Nelson House, first hand.
