I can’t quite believe that today is my 9 year anniversary as a Slimming World consultant.

I remember how I felt so clearly that first night: petrified 😂

But it’s been amazing and I’ve helped countless people in many different ways, and made some very special friendships along the way.

I went off on training while on maternity leave with a 3 month old, never for a minute thinking it would change my life in so many ways.

I am self employed. I don't work for Slimming World, I work with them as a Consultant. I get lots of support from Slimming World, first class training and access to all of the up to date systems and methods. Alongside this support I have personally invested a lot of time, money and energy into my business to make it work for me and my members and I continue to do that.

It can be really scary being self employed at times! But my members are truly the best, and it’s worth it all.

You can really help me. Just by liking and sharing my posts, by liking my page, inviting your friends to like my page - anything at all that gets the word out about my amazing groups. Even if you have no wish to join us, or no desire to lose weight - you may have somebody on your friends list who really needs us but has no idea of how to find us.

Please support all your friends in business - it will cost you nothing but a couple of clicks but it really does mean the world to us

You can weigh and go at Boots if you want to...but, unless you have a particularly friendly Boots cashier with a lot of time on his/her hands, you're not going to get the support, inspiration, motivation, laughter, friendship and love that you'll find in our groups.

Slimming World In Cairnshill Methodist is well known for the warm welcome we give and for our friendly, caring (and fun!) atmosphere...and whichever session you choose to attend you'll find the same.

One visitor to our group said recently "I wasn't going to stay to group...I never do...but I've had such a warm welcome here in Cairnshill and I feel so at ease that I'm going to!"

A returning member said "I was really nervous about coming back...but you...and every single member of your team have been so welcoming I feel like I've come back home!"
