O'Neills Funeral Directors O'Neill's Funeral Directors is a family run business helping families across Ireland. With two funeral homes: 98 Stewartstown Road & 228 Falls Road Belfast.

We are an independently family owned funeral directors established in 1991. Our main aim is to alleviate the worry from the family, of arranging the funeral, and in order to carry out this we are available 24 hours a day, no answer machines or recorded messages, the personal touch every time. Unfortunately, most of us will be confronted with the task of arranging the funeral of a loved one, which, in the midst of grief, can be a daunting ordeal. O’Neill’s Funeral Directors have a purpose built a Chapel of Rest incorporating Viewing Rooms and totally refurbished their existing premises, on the Stewartstown Road. In addition to this in 2023 we have just opened new additional premises at 228 Falls Road, again with viewing rooms for the convenience of families. They have on display a selection of headstones at their premises to complete their one stop facility of providing everything needed to arrange a funeral. The death has occurred of Patrick J. O’Neill on Monday, 30th March 2026. Patrick passed away peacefully at Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes.

Beloved son of Rita and Gerard, and loving brother of Gerard, Margaret, Veronica, Maire, and the late Jacinta. Devoted father of Cuan and Odhrán, cherished grandfather of Adam and Grace, and father-in-law of Patricia O’Neill.

Cuan and Odhrán O’Neill wish to express their sincere thanks to all of Patrick’s friends, family, and former work colleagues for their support and kindness over the past few months. During his time living in London, he was always surrounded by those who loved him.

In accordance with Patrick’s wishes, a private cremation will take place in England. His ashes will later be scattered in Dún Lúiche, Donegal. As per his request, there will be no funeral or wake

The family of the late Brendan wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone that's sympathised with us during the sad loss of our father, grandfather and great grandfather.

The family of the late May (Mary) Brownlee wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us during the sad loss of a devoted Mother, Mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt.

We would like to thank Dr Leavy and the Doctors at Springvale Medical Practice, the care-givers and staff of both Glenalina Lodge and Cairnmartin Court care homes, who all looked after our mum in the later years of her life. We are indebted to them for their kindness and support shown to mum.

A huge thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who attended the wake and the Funeral Mass and to all who sent flowers, mass & sympathy cards, messages, brought food and made donations to the Hospice. Your support has been a great comfort to us at this time.

A special thanks to McGlinchey’s Premier Store, Glencolin, and Stacked on the Glen Road for the donations of refreshments.

A special word of thanks to Father Pat Devlin and Holy Trinity Church for the beautiful and meaningful Funeral Mass. Thanks also to Olive Kayes for her beautiful singing during the Mass.

Mary passed away peacefully at Spa Nursing home on 27th March 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy, Cherished mother of Kathleen and the late Billy, Martha, Archie and Jim. Loved mother-in-law of Bernadette and Margaret and the late Frank and Kathleen. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Noel Carlin, who died peacefully in the early hours of March 27, 2026, aged 91.

Born on December 24, 1934, John was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nuala, and a proud and loving father to Fiona, Una, Peter, and Kevin.

He was also a cherished grandfather to John, Ella, Sean, Eve, Kieran, and Liam, who brought him great joy.

He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, who will remember him for his warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

John will be reposing at his late home (4 Glengoland Crescent) on Tuesday afternoon the family wish to ask if you are calling to pay respects to please do so between 5pm - 8pm.

John will leave his late home on Wednesday morning at 9:30 to arrive at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church for 10am mass. Burial to follow at Our Lady’s Cemetery Hannahstown.

Kathleen McNulty R.I.P.

Our family would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the support shown to us by our family and friends following the passing of our Mother ~ Kathleen Mc Nulty.

We want to thank everyone who attended our Mother’s wake and funeral. Who sent flowers and mass cards to honour our Mothers passing.

Special thanks and gratitude to O’Neills Funeral Directors for your professionalism, compassion and attention to detail. Your service and care really made what was a very difficult time for our family a lot less stressful by guiding every step of the way with your expertise and for that we are sincerely grateful as a family.

We would also like to thank Fr Rory Sheehan of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish Church for the beautiful service and eulogy that was written for Mum. Your words of comfort and the way you honoured our Mothers life brought great comfort to our family during this difficult time.

A special thank you also to Amy McAllister Singer and Harpist. Your singing and harp playing during the service was absolutely beautiful. You captured the gentleness of our Mums essence throughout the service. We are incredibly gratefully for your beautiful gift of music.

We would like to thank Katie’s Kitchen at Upper Dunmurry Lane for providing us with soup and sandwiches for our Mother’s wake.

We extend our deep gratitude also to Kieran and all the staff at Firview Restaurant at Balmoral Golf Club for providing us with sandwiches during the wake and the delicious funeral buffet. We would also like to thank my mums sisters Margaret and Sarah and their families for the abundance of food, teas, coffees, biscuits etc which they brought daily. It was gratefully appreciated.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually and if we have forgotten to mention anyone please accept this acknowledgement and our sincere appreciation to everyone that showed support, kindness and compassion to our family at such a painful and difficult time.
