For many homes, one tuning per year keeps things stable.

But:

• Heavily played instruments
• Pianos in schools or studios
• Instruments in rooms with significant temperature swings

…may benefit from two.

It’s not about selling more visits.

It’s about preventing instability from setting in — and keeping the instrument reliable long-term.

When pitch drifts too far, tension becomes uneven across the instrument. That’s when problems begin to compound.

Regular maintenance isn’t about chasing perfection.
It’s about preventing instability from bedding in.

Most home instruments don’t need major intervention.

But small adjustments, done at the right time, keep everything feeling consistent and responsive.

Concert instruments and heavily-used pianos may require more extensive regulation.

The key is knowing the difference — and advising honestly (and we will!)
