As we step into 2026, we’re looking forward to a new year full of change, saving lives, supporting one another, building connections, networking, and most of all making memories and having fun along the way.

• Training and mentoring
• One-to-one support & group support
• Fundraisers and community fun days
• Working alongside other men’s groups
• Food (always important!)

🎄 Merry Christmas, Brothers 🎄

As Christmas almost arrives, we want to acknowledge every man in this group. This season can bring joy and connection, but it can also bring quiet struggles, exhaustion, or reflection. Wherever you’re at, physically or mentally, you’re welcome here.

We also remember our brother John Mark, who we lost to cancer. His journey reminds us how precious health is, how deeply illness affects not just the body but the mind and spirit, and how important it is to support one another through every battle.

John’s presence and memory remain with us, and we honour him by continuing to check in, speak up, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder as men.

This Christmas, take care of your body, protect your mental wellbeing, and don’t hesitate to reach out, here or beyond.

🎄 Men’s Club – Last Night of the Year! 🎄

Tonight is our final men’s club session of the year, and we’re looking forward to a great evening together. Unfortunately, due to limited space, tonight will be regulars only, but we can’t wait to welcome everyone back with open arms in January. ✌️

We’ve got a Christmas chip supper, a wee present from Santa, and—no doubt—plenty of much-needed laughs, good company, a warm hug, and a strong handshake to end the year on a high. 🤝🎅✨

Thank you to all the lads for the banter, support, and friendship throughout 2025. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, and we’ll see you refreshed and ready in the New Year! 🎊💙🎊💚🎊

📣 Gents — This Wednesday is our last club meeting until Wednesday, 14th January 2026.

Before we wrap up for the year, I want to take a moment to look back at what an absolutely incredible journey it’s been.

From the brilliant nights in the club, the trips out, the two Amazing Mental Health Murals, fishing days, pool league battles, workshops, game nights, our summer and Halloween events, meeting the Lord Mayor Councillor Tracy Kelly Lord Mayor of Belfast and of course the club favourite Bingo nights, every moment has been filled with laughter, connection, and genuine brotherhood.

The support, love, and respect you show for one another (and for me) is something truly special. I couldn’t ask for a better group of men to share this path with.

It’ll be tough to beat the year we’ve just had… but next year, lads, we’re going bigger and better. This chapter has been amazing and the next one is only just beginning. 💪

Strength to strength. One day at a time. Helping ourselves and helping others along the way.

This year we also made new friends and connections with men’s groups right across Belfast and even Scotland — including Glenmachan Church Willowfield Church , G20 Youth, Diamond Geezers Ravenhill YM FC Glenbank Mens Group Clarawood Men’s Group, C.R.A.G, Connswater Men’s Shed, Mens Minds Matter NI, Building these relationships has been a huge highlight, and we look forward to growing them even more in 2026.

🎉 A Great Night at Our Men’s Group Bingo!
We had a brilliant bingo night at our men’s group loads of laughs, great company and a fantastic atmosphere. Evenings like this remind us how important our group is for connection, support and wellbeing. 💚

🚨We’re also delighted to share that our men’s group has received two incredible donations this month:

🚴 £180 Donation – 100 Mile Challenge
A huge thank-you to our member Soda Mark Magee who completed an amazing 100-mile cycling challenge in November. He raised £360 in total and chose to donate half to our club and the other half to Marie Curie. An inspiring effort and such a generous gesture. 👏👏

💈 £300 Donation – Scissor King Turkish Barbers Hot Towel Shave ( Hasan Cakir )
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Hasan from Scissor King for his generous £300 donation to our club. Hasan has supported us throughout the year sponsoring our Health & Wellbeing Pool League and donating vouchers for free haircuts, shaves and more for our events and activities.
His generosity has been unbelievable. Please give him a follow and support his business by popping in for a haircut or shave.

Brothers,

Every man carries a story, some chapter filled with battles no one knows about, victories no one celebrated, and lessons learned the hard way. But what defines a man is never the weight he carries…it’s the courage to keep walking forward.

This is your reminder: you are allowed to grow. You are allowed to outgrow old habits, old thinking, and old versions of yourself. Strength isn’t just muscle or confidence, it’s choosing discipline when comfort calls, choosing purpose when distractions whisper, choosing integrity when no one is watching.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to refuse to quit.

Stand tall. Sharpen your mind. Guard your peace. Surround yourself with men who challenge you to rise, not stay the same. And remember, your presence, your voice, your effort matters more than you think.

Keep going. Your future self is counting on you. 💙

What a great night with the men’s group! 👏

A huge thank you to John Menagh from Willowfield Church for inviting us to their Journey Through Narnia event. They did an absolutely brilliant job bringing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life, the photos below don’t even do it justice! ❄🦁

If you get the chance, you have to walk through it yourself and feel the magic. Truly unbelievable.

And to top it all off, the hot chocolate and tray bakes at the end were delicious. 😋
