Being volunteers for the Junior Blues means we get to meet incredible young people from all walks of life and today, the spotlight shines on the wonderful Maci! 💙

Maci, who has been diagnosed with autism and learning difficulties, often spends a lot of time in hospital, yet she continues to inspire everyone around her with her positivity and strength.

Last night, after a long journey by train and Glider, Maci got a very special surprise. She met her favourite Linfield player, Chris McKee, and even received a signed shirt!
Never let anything dim that amazing sparkle you carry with you, Maci you truly brighten every room you’re in! ✨

This week is Anti-Bullying Week a time for us all to stand together and show that kindness is stronger than bullying.

At the Junior Blues, we believe that football is for everyone on and off the pitch. Every young supporter deserves to feel safe, valued, and respected, both in person and online. Together, we can help stop bullying and make a real difference. 💪

🎨 Get Involved!
We’re inviting all our Junior Blues members to take part in our Anti-Bullying Poster Competition!

Create a poster showing how we can tackle bullying and promote kindness in school, online, at football and anywhere else you might experience it.

The winning designs will be shared featured on our Junior Blues page and include a prize awarded at the next junior blues meeting by the players in attendance! 🏆💙

Let’s stand united and spread the message: “Together, we can stop bullying.”

💙 World Mental Health Day 2025 💙

The Junior Blues are standing together to support World Mental Health Day. 🌍✨

Looking after your mind is just as important as keeping fit and healthy. We all have days when we don’t feel our best, and that’s okay. Talking to someone you trust, spending time with friends, or taking a break from stress can really help. 💬⚽💚

Remember: you’re never alone, and it’s always okay to ask for help. The volunteers are always here to listen! Together we are stronger💙

What a great day from start to finish for the junior blues! 💙

First off, we would like to say a massive thank you to our mascots & flag bearers. Yous were great as always!

A very big thank you to Dane McCullough, Ethan McGee & Alex Rodriguez for giving everyone a laugh at the meeting & for staying long enough for pictures and signatures after an eventful & entertaining bunch of questions.

Thank you to the parents for bringing the children along for another meeting this month, giving us the opportunity to make up for the mishap at the start of this month.

And a massive well done to all children for beating both Sarah & Rebekah at the game prior to the players arriving!

⚠️ THERE WILL BE ANOTHER JUNIOR BLUES MEETING THIS MONTH ⚠️

we have rescheduled todays meeting for a later date. Please join us on the 20/09/2025 in the Malcolm Brodie press suite.

We would like to place on record our apologies to all children who attended the meeting and were left waiting 30+ minutes for players to arrive.
Unfortunately this situation was out of our hands but we have emailed on behalf of all junior blues to express our concerns.

Nevertheless 80+ children at our meeting!!! Amazing!! We would like to thank you all for your support. It has not gone unnoticed.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Peter Thompson for saving us last minute, bringing back a bit of nostalgia for our junior blues parents.
