High-Protein, High-Fibre Mixed Bean Kebabs 🌱
These crispy, spiced kebabs are packed with flavour and deliver 15g of fibre per serving thanks to Balantra Fibre Powder. Perfect as a snack, starter, or in wraps and bowls.
Ingredients:
• Mixed beans – black chickpeas (kala chana), white chickpeas, kidney beans (boiled or tinned)
• Fresh spinach, finely chopped
• Cayenne pepper powder
• Garam masala
• Cumin powder
• Coriander powder
• Chaat masala (optional)
• Salt, to taste
• Lemon juice (optional)
• Balantra Fibre Powder – 2½ tbsp (super important to hit that 15g fibre target)
• Oil, for pan roasting
Method:
If using tinned beans, drain and rinse well. Add all the beans to a large bowl.
Add chopped spinach, cayenne, garam masala, cumin, coriander, chaat masala, salt, and a squeeze of lemon if using.
Add 2½ tablespoons of Balantra Fibre Powder.
Mash everything together until you get a coarse, mouldable mixture.
Shape into small patties or kebabs.
Heat a pan with a little oil and roast the kebabs until golden and crisp on both sides.
That’s it. Simple, wholesome, and seriously satisfying.
