🌟Meet the team Mondays🌟

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest team member Juno Clarke and let you all find out a little more about her!

Juno has been with us for a few weeks now as a new employee however she is no stranger to JMD Training. With a passion for knowledge Juno has completed many training courses with JMD Training. You can expect to see Juno in the office and developing her skills further in the training room over the coming months.

I know you will all make her feel incredibly welcome! 😊

1. What’s your favourite part about working here, and why?

So far, my favourite part is definitely the amazing team of people I get to work with. I was a bit nervous about fitting in to such a close-knit and well-oiled team, but everyone has been so welcoming. It turns out they’re all a bit mad -and I love it, it makes coming to work everyday very enjoyable.





2. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I’d love to be like Dr Dolittle and be able to talk to animals.



3. What’s one skill you’d love to learn?

I want to learn to operate a tower crane.



4. How do you like to unwind after a busy day?

I knit, crochet, sew, or cross stitch most evenings, but my favourite ‘self-care’ activity is getting tattoos.

This International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate an incredible woman whose vision, determination, and leadership continue to shape the future of our business – Maire Donnelly.

One of Maire’s greatest strengths was her ability to see opportunities where others see challenges. Understanding that changes in the construction industry could impact older members of the workforce the most, she developed innovative NVQ programmes designed to remove barriers for candidates. By focusing on practical, on-site assessments with minimal written work and no reliance on technology, these programmes have allowed hundreds of experienced workers to gain the recognition they deserve.

But Maire’s impact goes far beyond programme development. She is the heart of JMD Training, fostering a supportive, family-like culture where every team member’s ideas are valued. She championed innovative thinking, encouraged creativity, and ensured the business continues to evolve alongside industry needs.

Throughout the years, Maire mentored many young men and women starting out in their careers — offering guidance, opening doors to opportunities, and always being there with advice and support.

A business owner, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother, Maire gave everyone her all.

Maire's leadership, compassion, and commitment to helping others succeed make her a truly inspiring example for us all.

At JMD Training we have a superb team of women who were incredibly lucky, they were taught by the best and they carry those lessons with them everyday!

This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the dedication, commitment, care, and compassion shown every single day by Natalie Laverty, Lynne Donnelly, Annemarie Gillen, Claire Collins, Patricia Baloghova, Sophia Murinova and Juno Clarke.

Your hard work, kindness, and professionalism make a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Maire Donnelly.

Maire was truly a force of nature, an exceptional leader with an incredible mind for business and a smile that lit up every room.

She led JMD with unwavering dedication and heart, never too busy for a cup of tea and a chat and always putting others before herself.

As a team, we will miss her more than words can express. Her leadership, warmth, and spirit will remain at the heart of all we do.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her entire family circle at this very difficult time.

Yesterday we proudly hosted our first Coffee Morning for Macmillan in Northern Ireland 💚

Thank you to everyone who baked to help make the morning possible, as well as everyone who attended and donated to show their support.

It was wonderful to see everyone come together for such an important cause, we truly appreciate it!
