Calling all QUB Year 3–5 medical students!
Team up in pairs and present an interesting clinical case you’ve encountered on placement, followed by a short literature review.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ GPs will be judging, with time for questions from adjudicators and the audience. It’s a great opportunity to build presentation skills, deepen clinical understanding, and gain experience for future assessments.

🏆 The winning pair will represent QUB at the All-Ireland Semi-Finals!

📣Volunteer Examiners Needed – Y5 Mock OSCEs 📣

QUB GP Society is currently organising Year 5 Mock OSCEs and we are looking for doctors who would be willing to volunteer as examiners.

📍 Location: MBC
📅 Date: Saturday 10th January

We will be running two sessions on the day:
• Morning: 9:00am – 1:30pm
• Afternoon: 1:30pm – 6:00pm

We are hoping to recruit 12 doctors per session, and support for either one session or both would be hugely appreciated. Your time and expertise would be invaluable in helping final-year students prepare for their upcoming exams.

- Living with chronic pain, a Versus Arthritis patient session

We had the opportunity to connect with fellow students from GP societies across the UK, build networks with future colleagues, and gain valuable insights into the challenges and innovations shaping the future of general practice.

The speakers and presentations were truly eye-opening — highlighting key issues facing GPs today and offering inspiring solutions for tomorrow. We’re excited to bring what we’ve learned back to Belfast and into our future careers.
