RSV is a common and highly infectious respiratory virus that affects the breathing system, particularly in young children and older adults.

To help protect newborns and infants, pregnant women are being offered the vaccine from 28 weeks into their pregnancy. Adults aged from 75–79 years of age will also be offered the RSV vaccination.

If you’re eligible, getting vaccinated is the best and simplest thing you can do to protect yourself or your newborn baby from RSV.

Children in P1 to Year 12 will be offered the flu vaccine in school.

Most children receive the vaccine via a nasal spray. It is a quick and painless procedure, often described as a tickle in the nose, and is preferred for children over the injected flu vaccine due to its effectiveness and fewer side effects.

📌We are urging parents/guardians not to forget to sign and send back the consent form.

🧠💚 World Mental Health Day, 10 October 2025 💚🧠

Pharmacists dedicate their careers to caring for others, often working under intense pressure, long hours and emotional demands that can take their toll over time. But what happens when you need care and support?

This year’s World Mental Health Day reminds us that good mental health isn’t a constant. We all experience highs and lows. What matters most is knowing when to pause, reach out and take steps to protect your wellbeing.

📢 To every pharmacy professional out there: your mental health matters too. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Talk to someone, take that break and lean on those around you when you need to.

Let’s break the stigma, start open conversations and build pharmacy workplaces where every mind feels valued, heard and supported. 🫶
