Bannon (Cloughey) Died 16th December 2025, peacefully at hospital. Maura, beloved wife of the late Seán, dearly loved mother of Michael, Marian, Teresa, Eamonn and the late Rosaleen, dear mother-in-law of Fionnuala, Peter, Joe and the late Patrick, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, dear sister of Dessie, Anne and the late Sean, Declan and Patricia and a much loved aunt.
Maura’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm each day.
Funeral will leave the funeral home on Saturday 20th December at 11.30am to Mount St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 12noon followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Doole, (née Stinson) (Portaferry) Died 11th December 2025, peacefully at Croagh Patrick Care Home, surrounded by loved ones. Martha (Marty) dearly loved mother of Ted, Robert, Paul, Liam, Rosemary and Jamie, dear mother-in-law of Karen, Mary and Colum, much loved ‘Granny Marty’ and ‘Granny-Granny’ and loving sister to Sue and John, Matthew and Charles, and deceased brothers Jackie and Eamon.
Marty’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th December and Wednesday 17th December from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm each day.
Funeral will leave the funeral home on Friday 19th December at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by service in Roselawn Crematorium at 1.20pm.

Michael, dearly beloved husband of the late Sadie, loving father of Michael, Mary, Patrick, David, Jaqueline, Joseph and Michelle, a dear father-in-law, much loved granda and great-granda and dear bother of Bernadette and the late Elizabeth. R.I.P. Michael’s remains will be reposing in his home, 13 Ballyblack Road, Portaferry from 4pm on Thursday 11th December. Acknowledgement - The Gallagher family would like to express our thanks and appreciation during our recent loss of Francis.
Our sincere thanks to Fr McGrady & Fr Neeson, doctors, nurses & care workers who attended Francis throughout his illness.
We extend our thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and phone calls. Also we would like to thank family, friends, neighbours and all who visited & helped during Francis’ long illness.
We send our appreciation to Donna Berry for her beautiful singing. Thanks also to Angus Farm Shop for the amazing food supplied and to the helpers who served teas after Francis’ funeral.

Acknowledgement - PERRY, Roisin. The family of the late Roisin RIP wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who sent cards, messages, telephoned, called at the wake, made donations to Mindwise, attended the funeral or helped in any way.
Special thanks to Fr. John O’Laverty for celebrating the Requiem Mass and to Bernie and Marty Campbell for the beautiful music.
We would especially like to thank the doctors & nursing staff of Ward 3B at the Ulster Hospital, the team of carers who came to the home and Lorainne and Deirdre and all the staff at Mindwise for the exceptional care and kindness given to Roisin.
Finally we would like to thank John Smith Funeral Directors for their dignified services and The Barn for providing the refreshments after the service. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Dynes Family – Acknowledgement. The Dynes family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them during the recent loss of Brenda. We are deeply grateful to the doctors, the day and night district nursing teams, and all who attended Brenda throughout her illness. Our sincere thanks also go to the many friends, neighbours and relatives who visited, offered support, or helped in any way during this difficult time. There are too many people to thank individually, but we wish to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, as well as those who joined us from afar through online services. Thank you to all who sent cards, letters, and messages of sympathy. We offer special thanks to Fr. McGrady and Fr. Neeson for their devoted care to Brenda during her illness and for the beautiful Requiem Mass. Maureen, devoted wife of Charlie, dearly loved mother of Ken, Kelly, Martin, Aidan & Claire, dear mother-in-law of Joanne, Daniel, Julie, Adele and Anthony, cherished grandmother of Dylan, Georgia, Oliver, Noah, Joseph, Aoife, Christy, Erin, Aine, Cara. And much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to all who loved her.
