HULL (Portaferry) Died 5th March 2026, peacefully at hospital. Ian, much loved partner of Morna, father of Euan and Fiona, and brother of George.
Ian will be reposing in his home 5E Castle Street, Portaferry on Thursday 12th March from 4pm until 10pm. All are welcome.
The cremation service will be in Roselawn Crematorium on Friday 13th March at 10am followed by Refreshments in Dumigan's Bar, 9 Ferry Street, Portaferry.
Donations in tribute to Ian could be made privately to a charity of choice.
Ian will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by a wide circle of family, friends and traditional musicians.

Toner (Portaferry) Died 5th March 2026, at hospital, after a short illness. Margaret, dearly loved partner of Joe, beloved daughter of the late Beth and Dan, cherished twin sister of Eileen, loving sister of Vincent, Marian, Ursula, Paula, Tommy, Danny, Patricia, Andrew, Michael and the late Peter, a dear sister-in-law, much loved aunt and great-aunt and dearly loved by Caroline, Grainne, Christopher, Cushla and their families.
Margaret’s remains will repose in her sister Paula’s home 19a Deerpark Road, Portaferry from 4pm on Friday 6th March.
Funeral will leave the home on Sunday 8th March at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Taylor (Portaferry) Died 22nd February 2026, peacefully at hospital. Herbie, beloved husband of Heni, dearly loved father of Gwen and Ruth, dear father-in-law of Mark and Jim, much loved Papa of Hannah, Sam, Geoff and William and cherished great-papa of Blainey, Corrine, Irelynn and Taylor.
House strictly private. Funeral Service in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Thursday 26th February at 11.30am followed by a private committal in Roselawn Crematorium.

Sally’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Monday 23rd February from 6pm-8pm and Tuesday 24th February from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Wednesday 25th February at 10.45am to Christ Church, Ardkeen (The Quarter) for a graveside service at 11am.

Billy’s remains will be reposing in his home 14 Beechwood, Avenue, Portaferry. Visitors welcome on Friday 20th February from 11am – 8pm. Funeral will leave the home on Saturday 21st February at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.

Bessie's remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Directors on Wednesday 28th Jan. from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and Thursday 29th Jan. 10am – 12noon and 2pm-4pm.
Funeral will leave the funeral home on Thursday 29th Jan. at 5.45pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip at 6pm and repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Friday 30th Jan. at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
