The FAQ Level 3 Award for Immediate Response Emergency Care (RQF) IREC® course provides first responders with the skills, knowledge and understanding to provide the appropriate life-saving care to a casualty.

Course Information

This level 3 Award for Immediate Response Emergency Care IREC qualification is Category D on the FPHC PHEM Skills Framework.

The IREC® qualification is one of the available Level 3 Pre-Hospital Care courses, along with First Person on Scene (FPOS), First Responder and First Response Emergency Care (FREC) courses.

FAQ Level 3 Award in First Responders on Scene: Emergency First Responder (RQF)

This qualification is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding, to provide the appropriate care to a casualty.

This is a five day classroom based course, with home study and knowledge reviews.

This qualification is Category C on the FPHC PHEM Skills Framework:

During this training you will learn are different immobilisation techniques used in treating different injuries, the correct use of spinal boards and scoop stretchers to immobilise and transport a patient, advanced airway management, emergency oxygen use and how to work with a team to treat a patient.

The qualification is aimed at individuals who work or intend to provide immediate emergency care.

MCP First Aid Training will be running a three day training course covering Basic Life Support, AED, Airway Management, Oxygen Therapy, Ambulance Equipment, Moving and Handling of Patients, Life Changing Hemorrhage, Fractures, Spinal trauma etc .

This course is to provide new students who are interested in coming into the independent Ambulance Sector with the knowledge, Skills and Confidence to manage a medical or trauma emergency before they can progress into the pre hospital training modules.

Course dates: 2nd, 3rd, 4th Jan 26 (fully booked)
Course dates: 15th, 23rd, 26th Jan 26.
