Part 2: The Story Continues…
We woke up at 5 a.m. — light creeping in, city still asleep, that mix of excitement and why do we do this to ourselves? Off to Zeitz MOCAA to set up for the Ageless by Design Summit.
Zeitz sits beside the V&A Waterfront, facing Table Mountain — you can’t stand there and not feel something. To me, it felt like home — the place and people I love.
First up: the goody bags. ESSE serums (still using mine), that gorgeous olive oil, the magazine — not just products, but pieces of what we believe in. We weren’t just handing out gifts; we were curating an experience.
Then came the setup — seeing Ageless by Design standing there, bold and beautiful. From a small idea in a meeting to a summit in one of the world’s most iconic art spaces.
When the mics went on, my nerves hit. Mouth like sandpaper. I was sharing the stage with people I’ve admired for years — and then it happened. The room leaned in. Real, raw questions. The kind that come from lived experience and the deep want to feel better, do better, be better.
Even after we ended, no one left. Drinks in hand, still talking, still asking — hungry for truth and clarity. Men and women alike, asking about hormones, stress, vitality, and ageing. Because health has no gender, and struggle no hierarchy.
Then the sound crew came to ask their own questions — that’s when it hit me. It’s not just the “wellness crowd.” It’s everyone.
People are craving honest, unfiltered conversations about health, hormones, stress, and resilience. They want help. They want hope.
There’s so much more we can do to feel well in our bodies — not just survive ageing, but shape it.
This summit wasn’t just an event.
It was a signal flare.
More cities.
More conversations.
More courage.
More truth.
Ageless by Design is becoming a movement.
