🌱 What You Sow, You Grow 🌱

Lately I’ve been reminded how much our inner world mirrors what we feed it. When I focus on kindness, gratitude, and patience, life feels softer and more grounded. But when I get caught in worry or self-criticism, those feelings grow too.

It’s not about pretending everything’s positive—it’s about noticing what we’re planting and gently choosing again. Small moments of self-compassion, small shifts in perspective… they really do take root.

Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness.

It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.

I often get asked what’s the difference between emotions and feelings by my clients. Understanding the difference is like learning the language of your inner world - it helps you respond with clarity rather than react from confusion.

Emotions are immediate, automatic bodily responses to stimuli- like your heart racing when startled or your stomach tightening in anger. They’re primal, often subconscious, and rooted in the nervous system.

Feelings are the conscious interpretations of those emotions or sensations- how we label and make sense of them through thought and experience. For example, the emotion might be fear, but the feeling could be anxiety, dread, or even excitement depending on context 😊

Great information on fermented foods which are power houses of goodness 😋

What is your favorite fermented food? 🤔

Fermented foods have been enjoyed for centuries, not only for their unique flavors but also for their powerful health benefits. For women in menopause, they can be especially supportive.

Fermentation creates beneficial bacteria known as probiotics, which help support gut health. A healthy gut can improve digestion, reduce bloating, and strengthen the immune system. During menopause, when hormonal changes may affect digestion, sleep, and even mood, nurturing gut health can make a real difference.

Fermented foods also help the body absorb nutrients more effectively, supporting bone strength, steady energy, and overall well-being. They can even help calm inflammation and bring the body back into balance.
