Great to welcome Rebecca Harris and Andrew Sheldon to Cross Chemist last week to see our NHS community pharmacy prescribing service in action.

Over the past two years we’ve delivered around 7,000 consultations locally, with more than 300 patients seen every month. Working closely with local GP practices, pharmacist prescribers are helping manage minor illness, hypertension and cholesterol directly within the community.

Services like this are helping improve access to care closer to home for local residents.

Thank you again to Rebecca Harris MP and Councillor Sheldon for taking the time to visit and learn more about the role community pharmacy can play in local healthcare.
