Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rachel Best - Vocalist to visit us. She treated us to a wonderful selection of nostalgic songs that had everyone joining in and reminiscing.

It was a truly enjoyable afternoon, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming Rachel back again soon! 🎶🎵🎶

Yesterday we gathered and shared our favorite spring memories—what the season means to each of us. 🌸
Our lovely resident who is registered blind with also hearing difficulties was so inspired she wrote her own poem and proudly signed it. 💛
Moments like these make spring feel even more special.

Lovely Easter coffee morning The Songsters providing the entertainment!

We enjoyed a cheerful sing-song together, followed by delicious hot cross buns. Such a warm and joyful way to celebrate!

Meet our two newest members of the West View family! 👋

We’re delighted to welcome Gareth, our new Administrator, who has already settled in brilliantly. He’s also brought along his assistant, Stanley, who we’re sure you’ll all enjoy getting to know just as much.

On Sunday 15th March relatives are warmly invited to join us for a Mothering Sunday High Tea, featuring delicious cream teas and refreshments as we celebrate and appreciate the wonderful mothers or loved ones in our family.

We would love for you to come and share this special afternoon. The High Tea will be served from 2pm. Please let us know if you are able to join.

Busy few days at West View 💕
We shared the love on Valentine’s Day and got flipping ready for Shrove Tuesday with some serious tossing skills! 🥞

Lots of smiles, laughter and (almost) perfectly landed pancakes!

Ten-week-old Beltane already out here winning hearts at West View! Extra points for being very snuggly—clearly he understood the assignment. 💛🐾

🎉🎂 What a very special day here at West View as we celebrated Monica’s 100th birthday! 🎂🎉

The morning was filled with music from a pianist, who played some of Monica’s favourite songs. For lunch, Monica enjoyed her meal of choice – a delicious roast pork – and the celebrations continued into the afternoon with lots of fun party games.

This month, we stayed warm indoors and kept ourselves busy. We enjoyed celebrating Diana’s and Jackie’s birthdays, and the Songsters visited to provide wonderful entertainment.
