We know it’s not always easy walking through the door somewhere new, that’s why our Thursday drop-in with Northern View is kept relaxed and informal.

Some people come for a game. Some come for the soup. Some just fancy a chat and a warm drink.

However you spend the time, you’ll be welcome at Tweed Connections CIC between 11am and 3pm.

Soup, roll and a tea or coffee £3.50.
No need to book , just come as you are.

⚠️ Yellow warning issued for ice ⚠️

The met office have issued a yellow warning for ice from 00:00 to 10:00 tomorrow (28 January) for the following areas:

Darlington
Durham
Gateshead
Hartlepool
Middlesbrough
Newcastle upon Tyne
Northumberland
Redcar and Cleveland
Stockton-on-Tees

Clearing skies Tuesday night will allow temperatures to fall below freezing soon after midnight and on Wednesday morning.

After the recent wet weather, icy patches are likely to develop on some untreated surfaces.

Miserable weather hasn't stopped us having a great week at Tweed Connections!

On Wednesday we were invited to watch the Memory Laners pantomime and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done to the cast and crew!

Skittles has been our favourite group game this week which kept Karen and Stacey on their toes chasing the balls!

We've also enjoyed some competitive games of dominoes, Scottish themed word games in honour of Burns Night, and played some of our favourite music which everyone loved!

Thank you as always to the ladies at Northern View for our lovely lunches which included a Roast Beef dinner and chicken pasta bake this week.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend and look forward to doing it all again next week!

We've had some delicious, warming lunches over the past few weeks to help combat the winter cold!

Our meals are nutritionally balanced so everyone gets the vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy, while also providing a treat and 'dining out' experience. We also cater for special dietary and soft food requirements.

Thanks to your generosity, our venture into the North Sea at the 2025 Boxing Day Dip raised an incredible

This money will be added to our Clients' Fund and be used for days out, coffees and treats!
