An insight into our Choices4Children taster day a couple of weeks ago 📸✨

It was such a lovely afternoon welcoming families, meeting the children and giving everyone a little taste of what our after school club has to offer — from fun activities to a safe, supportive space to learn, play and grow 💛

The children got stuck into crafts, made some wonderful creations, enjoyed singing and dancing together, and even had time to focus on homework too… a perfect balance of fun and productivity! 🎨🎶📚

A big thank you to Asda for kindly providing drinks and snacks for the session; it was greatly appreciated by us all! 🥤🍪

A sense of belonging plays a huge role in children’s mental health and wellbeing. Feeling included, accepted and connected helps children thrive at home, at school and in their communities. ✨
This Children’s Mental Health Week, we’re focusing on the people and spaces around our children. By working together as families, friends, schools and communities, we can create supportive environments where every child feels valued and able to say “I belong.” 💫

Our after school club provides a Ofsted registered, fun and relaxing environment where children can play and unwind after the school day.

❗️FREE SUPPORT GROUP SESSION 👋

Our Tuesday Trauma group is back with our trained and qualified counsellors. We are a safe space group with alike individuals and our trained professionals discussing relationship traumas and recognising a healthy relationship.
The trauma group will bring together those who have experienced a traumatic event(s) in a relationship.
Such events can harm a person’s sense of safety, sense of self and ability to regulate emotions and navigate relationships and recognise a healthy relationship. We will discuss traumas and focus on recognising healthy relationships.

Please note, we will be discussing negative relationships and traumas in a friendly, open, safe space, amongst alike individuals in a confidential environment.

Our sessions are lead by our trained and qualified counsellors:

We’re incredibly grateful to receive a donation last year from The Goswick Community Fund 🙏🏼 Goswick Golf Club ✨

🎉 Choices4Growth is officially 8 years old! 🎉

It’s hard to believe how far we have come. This year our incredible team has continued to work tirelessly and the need for support in our community has only grown. We are proud to be here for those who need us most.

We want to take a moment to thank all our dedicated fundraisers, wonderful supporters and volunteers who have given their time, taken on challenges and organised celebrations to raise essential funds for C4G!
