We all want something different from our bodies, whether it is a training goal, preparation for a marathon or expedition, being pain-free from the stresses that work and life throw our way or keeping enjoyment in the day to day activities that we love. You know what that means for your body, so you will have a great idea already of what the next step is for your well-being and recovery. We view our treatments as a journey, leading you onto the road of greater body awareness. We are here to advise, support and to travel with you on your path. By taking a look at you as a whole we can start to piece together where your posture, movement restrictions, lifestyle and past problems are playing a part in your current body constraints. Once a full consultation has been completed we will move forward with a unique treatment specifically for your body and the outcome which you are working towards. Treatments use a blend of remedial and sports massage, muscle activation, soft tissue therapy, kinesiotaping, rehabilitation and strengthening work to get the right results for you. And have you told them recently?
Why not take some time today to remind the people you're grateful for, why they're amazing and why they deserve a little outpouring of gratitude!

To be be truly grateful, we need to first work on ourselves! Here's a little yoga flow for you, focussing on reflection and grounding so you can find peace and start to think about what you're grateful for.

Set the tone:
- Find a quiet space.
- Optional: dim lights, play soft ambient or instrumental music.

Easing in (3–5 minutes):
- Easy Seat (Sukhasana) or Child’s Pose (Balasana)
Close your eyes, rest your hands on your knees or the floor.
Take 5–10 deep breaths, lengthening the exhale.
Ground through your sit bones or shins and feel your connection to the earth.
Mentally repeat: “I am here. I am grounded.”

Gentle Awakening (5 minutes)
- Cat–Cow (Marjaryasana–Bitilasana) — 5 rounds
Move with breath, inhaling into Cow, exhaling into Cat.
- Thread the Needle (each side)
Melt one shoulder down, resting your head; breathe into the upper back.
- Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
Pedal the feet, soften the knees, and find a gentle sway.

Standing Flow (8–10 minutes)
- Mountain Pose (Tadasana)
Feel your feet rooting down. Take a moment to notice how you stand today.
- Half Sun Salutation (3 rounds)
Flow slowly: reach up, fold forward, halfway lift, fold, rise back up.
- Warrior II (Virabhadrasana II) → Reverse Warrior → Extended Side Angle
Move mindfully between these shapes; hold each for several breaths.
Repeat on both sides.
- Wide-Legged Forward Fold (Prasarita Padottanasana)
Crown of the head reaching toward the ground; hands resting on the floor or blocks.

Seated Reflection (8–10 minutes)
- Seated Forward Fold (Paschimottanasana)
Let the spine round slightly. Imagine releasing any mental clutter.
- Bound Angle Pose (Baddha Konasana)
Gently press the soles of the feet together; soften the knees.

Seated Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana)
- Twist gently to each side, lengthening the spine with each inhale.

Closing Grounding (5–10 minutes)
- Reclined Bound Angle (Supta Baddha Konasana) or Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani)
Place one hand on your belly, one on your heart.
Feel your breath rise and fall beneath your hands.

Savasana (Final Rest)
Let go completely. Imagine the earth supporting you fully.
Stay for at least 5 minutes.

Reflection / Journaling (optional)
After your practice, take a few moments to write down any sensations, emotions, or thoughts that surfaced.
What parts of my body supported me and felt strong today?
Where did I notice ease? Where did I notice resistance?

Well, what 3 things are you grateful for?

Have you thought about this recently? This week we're challenging you to take a moment and think of 3 things (at least!) that you're grateful for. This hopefully won't be too hard and can be as small or huge and momentous as you like.

Not sure where to start? We'll tell you some of ours:
- The crisp autumn leaves and fresh woody smells of autumn
- The slightly lighter mornings for dog walks
- The wonderful Betws/Gwynedd community we have around us

Have you thought about writing these down? Sticking a post-it on the fridge or bathroom mirror? So when times get tough, take a moment and think of 3 things that you're grateful for!
