🎨 The Power of Art for Our Elderly Residents 🎨
Drawing and creative activities are incredibly beneficial for elderly people, especially those living with dementia.
Choosing colours, shapes, and ideas helps stimulate the brain, encourages imagination, and supports cognitive function.
Art also helps to improve fine motor skills, keeping hands active and engaged, while giving residents a sense of purpose and achievement.
Most importantly, drawing brings calmness, joy, and a wonderful way to express feelings when words are not always easy to find.
Every picture tells a story, and every moment of creativity helps keep minds active and hearts happy. 💛✨
