We are expecting high demand across our GP practices this winter as has been the case over the last few years, so our clinical team will be focusing on core General Practice appointments.

Here’s what you need to know about flu and Covid vaccinations this year:
Our Health Care Assistants, Nurses, GPs, Paramedics and other clinicians will be prioritising essential General Practice care for our patients.

Flu and Covid vaccinations will be delivered locally by a range of providers, rather than at our practices.

If you are eligible for a free NHS flu or Covid vaccine, you can arrange your vaccination using the NHS National Booking System.

❄️ As winter approaches, protecting your health becomes more important than ever. Each year, the NHS runs a winter vaccination campaign to help safeguard those who are most at risk during the colder months.
From 1st October 2025 onwards, eligible patients will be able to receive their winter vaccination. You can start booking your vaccination from today to make sure you’re prepared in advance.

We’ve had a few patients contact us recently after hearing rumours that Sidley Pharmacy is closing. We want to put your minds at rest straight away — this is not true.

Sidley Pharmacy is proud to be your local, independent community pharmacy. We’re not part of Sidley Medical Practice — we’re simply neighbours. While we work closely with local healthcare teams to support you, we have our own management, our own team, and our own commitment to you.

We’re here to stay, and we’re here for you — whether it’s your NHS prescriptions, health advice, or the private services we provide to make life a little easier.
