Marks weekly ramblings 😉, sorry update. It’s been a very busy week helping people get and stay mobile on their mobility aids. The weather is getting people out and about enjoying the beautiful clouds 😂. New release scooter from Drive, folds flat and weighs 14kg, priced at under £1500. (Silver one), the build quality far exceeds similar models on the market. It’s that new it’s not even oh their website yet. We also have a demo Baja Bandit (Tan &Green scooter pictured) at Bexhill, can go to Eastbourne if required. Link at the bottom of text. Due to us having a few issues getting payment everything MUST be paid in full now before delivery or collection. We are booking for May now so please allow time for routine maintenance, minimum 2 weeks. As always contact us if urgent and we’ll see what we can do. Our new furniture shop is picking up nicely 🥰. Oh and we are NOT CLOSING OUR EASTBOURNE SHOP 😂, someone seems to know more about my business than I do. Most importantly, enjoy the sunshine, if you need anything to help you get active and mobile you know where to come.

When you want or need a mobility aid you don’t want to wait weeks or months for it. We invest heavily in stock so that we can supply what’s needed quickly. Customer has tried other mobility shops in the area and quoted £30 less than us but a quote isn’t any good if they can’t provide the product. His & Hers AeroCarbon scooters sold today. These really are the one the best folding scooters on the market. Weighing 13 kg without the battery our 90 plus year old customer can lift it in to the back of their Mercedes and even fit the 2 next to each other. Light and compact, easy to use ☺️ When they came in yesterday they said they’re too expensive…….. then they tried one and purchased 2. Happy 😃 days.

We had a call from a customer that purchased a scooter from us about a year ago, they said it was beeping and wouldn’t move. We tried to help over the phone but they were getting very confused so we agreed to go and look at it. Mark went out, first thing he noticed was the charger was plugged in, once unplugged it works fine. We did this free of charge, a big national company would have charged £80 to do that as would some others. We are getting more and more calls from internet only sellers asking us to sort their problems out as they are too far away. We will help if we can as we find once we go to a customer they stick with us, not the internet one. There are some good internet based sellers but buying locally means you get local support.

Tomorrow is our last day until we close for a 4 break for Easter.
If you break down on your mobility aid please ring your insurance company, it’s no good calling us multiple times at 6 pm like someone did last as we are closed. We always tell customers we cannot offer a recovery service as we are normally too busy to drop everything and rescue people, if we can help though we will. We offer insurance from £96 a year, this includes recovery, public liability, theft, vandalism and much more. We are booking about 10 days ahead at the moment so please give plenty of notice for routine maintenance but don’t hesitate in contacting us if you need us urgently as we will do our best for you, we do try and keep a little bit of time aside for urgent stuff. Worst ways Mark will have to get his 🙌 dirty and help Brandon as he did today. Please try and remember we are 5 people and you can speak to anyone, it’s much quicker if you do. Bluebells are appearing already, I’ll share pictures if they’re any good. If you’re still awake after this long read please have Happy 🐣 Easter, you can leave a voicemail over the long weekend.

Weekly round up. A beautiful start to Saturday, I took this around 6.45. It’s been an extremely busy week for repairs and servicing, Brandon has worked so hard to keep on top of it all. We’ve had some great sales this week now the weather is improving. When I started the business I thought it would be good to work with as many manufacturers I could, now I’m going the other way and focusing on those that support us and our customers. Ozzie our rescue 🐶 has been in the shop learning to trust people as he’s not been socialised much, Lynne has groomed him, he looks and smells much better and his confidence is growing. Laura has been great looking after him.
The new van has its new private plate AD03 MOB 🙂. This time last year was very quiet and I was genuinely concerned we would not last but went on to have the best year yet. Thank you as always for supporting us, we genuinely appreciate it. Clocks go forward tonight, that suits my body clock better and with 3 dogs, 2 who get up when it’s light it’s better for me. 😂Take care and have a great weekend.

We are not going to Naidex this year, we went last year and it was so busy with end users it was difficult to talk to our suppliers. It costs over £300, fuel and accommodation for just 2 of us last time plus we are very busy so 2 days away from the shop is tough and we want to be there for our customers. Looks like Kymco UK Healthcare Ltd have some nice new products available. I’m sure we’ll have them in store soon, for now here’s some pictures.
