2016 where I celebrated my birthday following my dream and doing my Yoga teacher training in India.

The most magical experience.

I always said if I was going to do my Yoga training, the only place I would do it, is where Yoga originated from and fully immerse myself in it all.

Learning from incredible teachers with an amazing group of fun like minded people.

Over the last 10 years I have hopefully made Yoga accessible to lots of people who maybe never would’ve even thought of trying. Sharing the benefits of this beautiful ancient practice.

Here is to another 10 years! ✨

Yoga is always there for you. Even when it’s not a physical practice. It’s so much more.

After a tricky couple of weeks, the highlights for me has been my work, Yoga and the wonderful people I get to see at class each week. (And of course my amazing family!)

I am grateful to have been able to teach and work this last week while waiting for something horrible to happen.

The kindness, concern and support has meant a lot and didn’t go unnoticed, I wanted to keep my professional hat on and focus on what I was doing in the moment.

I have very much been going with the flow and will see what next week has in store.

Please just keep your eyes on updates and my booking page of the website. I plan to be there next week and look forward to seeing you 🩷

Just leaving one last reminder, your body is amazing. Take care of your health. It’s hard when life pulls you in other directions and distractions come but what you can do, no matter how small, is amazing. Each day is different and sometimes we need to take the pressure off and just give ourselves awareness and respect.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most effective.

We all like a good hip stretch

These are some of my favourite hip focused exercises, working on some mobility, getting into those hip flexors that always get tight and a good glute stretch

Do each exercise for 1 minute
1. Hip circles - keep the rest of your body still. Focus on mobility in the hip joint
2. Hip flexor stretch - engage your glute on the stretching side
3. Runners lunge- press the back heel away
4. Figure 4 or reclined eagle - breathe and enjoy the stretch
5. Reclined butterfly- let gravity help you relax

5 minutes a day is starting again next week- join me every day in November for movement and mindfulness. Message me to sign up. We start 1st November.
