Doris did a great job helping with our Christmas cake for the Southcare Homes Group competition so it was only right that we saved some for her to share when her daughter visited. Doris said I have really enjoyed doing this and rumour has it she used to be very generous with the brandy when she made her own Christmas cake!! 🤣❤🍰

The Southcare Homes Group Christmas cake winner was announced today, drum roll please.............. And congratulations to the winners Grasmere Rest Home for their wonderful Christmas tree cake. We would also like to congratulate Highbury House Nursing & care home Lime Tree House and Freshford Cottage Nursing Home as all the cakes looked amazing!! We look forward to the next competition... bring in on 🤣🤣🤣

We were very lucky to be entertained yesterday by the fabulous children from Glenleigh Park Primary Academy & Nursery. The children sang beautifully and to end the show we were treated to a wonderful rendition of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer complete with actions. Our residents and staff loved it and talked about it all afternoon. Thank you Maple Class - you were fantastic! Happy Christmas to you all 🤩🥳❤️🎄🎁🎊
