NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS

Following the Government’s recent announcement on 23rd March 2020, imposing further restrictions on all members of the public to remain at home, the management have taken the step of announcing that, with immediate effect, all families and friends of residents at Green Bank are asked to postpone their visits, until further notice.

The purpose of this restriction is to protect our residents and staff from the effects of the Coronavirus (Covid 19), and ensure that we continue to provide the best possible care for those in our care.

Only the following limited groups will continue to be allowed to visit the home:

- Doctors, Nurses and other Health Care Professionals (providing care and treatment to our residents)
- Adult social care professionals
- Those delivering supplies and essentials to the home
- Other individual(s) whose visit is deemed essential and necessary by a member of the home’s management team

Visitors from the above groups will be required to follow the home’s strict infection control protocols whilst in the building, and remain no longer than is necessary.

Families and friends are encouraged to ring the home (01424211704) if they wish to talk with a resident, or find out how s/he is, or write to the resident at the home. Emails addressed to the home (pillowatrick@aol.co.uk) for the attention of an individual resident will be passed on to them.

The home’s management, staff and residents thank you for your cooperation in this matter, during this difficult time.

NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS

We would like to ask all visitors to the home to consider postponing your visit if you have any of the following symptoms:

Persistent cough
Chestiness
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Difficulty breathing
Fever
Diarrhoea
Muscle or body aches
Any other symptoms associated with a cold or flu

We would ask visitors to postpone for the time being bringing in family pets and animals.

Following advice from Government agencies:

- The home will allow only one visitor at a time per resident.

- Any visitor(s) who present with symptoms (above) will be denied entry to the home, and be asked to postpone their visit.

- All persons coming in to, and leaving, the home will be asked to wash their hands using the alcohol gel dispenser in the front entrance. Where hands are visibly dirty, visitors will be asked to wash their hands using hand soap facilities.

Individuals with any of the above symptoms (especially cough or high temperature (over 37.8C)) are being advised to stay at home (self-isolate) for 7 days from the onset of symptoms. Stay at home for 14 days if you share your home with someone who has symptoms of the virus. Should these symptoms persist after this time, or become more serious, they should telephone their GP, or use the NHS 111 system, for more advice.

The home’s management, staff and residents thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
