Opening up again for PT sessions โ˜บ๏ธ

Itโ€™s been well over a year since I worked because of Covid, homeschooling etc.

Iโ€™m sooooo ready to to get back to. Iโ€™ve missed seeing my lovely clients and helping people to stay fit and healthy ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Starting this again as I didnโ€™t finish it properly the first time around.

With everything going on in the world right now, it can be hard to have hope and see the positives but we still have so much to be grateful for ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Today I am grateful for my discovery of cold water swimming ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ

Most people think Iโ€™m bonkers. I think most people are missing out.

The toughest thing to over come is the fear in your mind. Your body is more than capable.

When you conquer and overcome something you fear or think you absolutely cannot do, the rewards are fantastic ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Itโ€™s probably a bit like jumping out of an aeroplane. Once youโ€™ve done it, you want to do it over and over because it feels so good.

With cold water swimming, the mental and physical health benefits are instant. A natural high, an instant reset, a re-balancing of every hormone in your body and it actually makes you feel warmer.

I used to HATE the winter and being cold - now I embrace it.

RECIPE ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

Ingredients:

50g Oats (milled in a food processor)
40g Almond flour (ground almonds)
100ml Almond milk
1 over ripe banana
1 tablespoon of maple syrup (or honey)
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Tablespoon of coconut oil to cook

Method:

Mash the banana up in a bowl and then add all the of ingredients (not coconut oil) and mix well.
Leave for 5-10 mins and then cook your pancakes in some coconut oil.
Add your favourite toppings and enjoy ๐Ÿ˜‹

Even though the weather has turned...I'm still keeping up with swimming outdoors.

I've found it's really beneficial for my mental health and leaves me feeling refreshed. It gives me a real mood boost and I sleep really well afterwards.

It's almost Halloween and no matter what you are doing, it's a great time to still make healthy choices. Try swapping all the sweets for some roasted pumpkin seeds. Or fill up on fruit and healthy fun alternatives.

If you plan it out then there is less chance of making hasty decisions. Plus you can still enjoy yourself ๐ŸŽƒ
