Santa came through the care home doors with a sack full of gifts and a heart even fuller. 🎅🎁
He handed each resident a present, but what mattered most were the moments in between — shared laughter, gentle jokes, and warm hugs that lingered a little longer. It was especially meaningful for Lilian, who shared fond memories and a few happy tears, hardly believing Santa was really there.

Smiles lit up the room, eyes sparkled, and for that afternoon everyone felt wrapped in joy and kindness. Long after Santa left, the warmth remained, safely tucked into every heart. ❤️

🎄 Marlborough Court Care Home has been full of festive fun as we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day and Pyjama Day together!

Residents and staff embraced the cosy spirit, dressing in their favourite festive jumpers and comfy pyjamas, filling the home with colour, laughter, and Christmas cheer. The days were all about feeling relaxed, enjoying the little things, and spending quality time together.

These simple but joyful moments mean so much, bringing comfort, happiness, and a wonderful sense of togetherness to our residents. It’s been lovely to see everyone joining in and making memories that will be cherished long after the festive season! ✨💖

🎄 We were absolutely delighted to welcome visitors from Hawksmoor School to our care home. Their beautiful singing filled our home with festive cheer, bringing joy, smiles, and a wonderful sense of togetherness to everyone who listened.

Our residents truly enjoyed the experience, joining in with familiar Christmas songs and reminiscing about festive moments from years gone by. It was heart-warming to see how music can bring people together and create such meaningful connections.

It was a magical day at our Residents and Families Christmas Party! 🎄✨

We shared a beautiful afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness. Our residents and their loved ones enjoyed delicious food, festive drinks, and plenty of Christmas cheer. A huge highlight of the event was the wonderful performance by Josh, whose singing lifted the spirits of everyone in the room! 🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. We wish all our residents, families, and staff a joyful and peaceful Christmas season! ❤️🎅

Our staff party was a night full of energy and fun! We enjoyed an amazing spread of food, great music, and plenty of laughter. The team hit the dance floor with enthusiasm, and the atmosphere only got better as we played a variety of games that brought out everyone’s competitive — and hilarious — side.🎄

It was the perfect mix of good food, good music, and good company, with moments that reminded us how special our team truly is. A special thank you to our Manager and Deputy, who worked incredibly hard to organise this amazing staff party for us!❤️

🎄✨ Our care home was full of Christmas cheer on 1st December! Residents and staff had a wonderful time decorating the trees, choosing their favourite baubles, and adding personal touches. The lounge was full of laughter and music as staff and residents shared a joyful afternoon together. A few team members began dancing in the centre of the room, inviting everyone nearby to join in. Soon, residents were clapping along, smiling, and moving to the rhythm, creating a wonderful sense of togetherness. 🎶💛

After the music, the fun continued with light ball games that brought out everyone’s playful side. Staff gently tossed soft balls to the residents, who eagerly joined in, passing, rolling, and cheering each other on. It was a simple activity, but it lit up the room with energy and connection. 🤾‍♀️😊

Life at Marlborough Court Care Home ☺️

It was a joyful day at Marlborough Court as we celebrated two residents’ birthdays. One celebration took place in the lively first-floor lounge, where fellow residents gathered around to sing, cheer, and enjoy cake with our birthday lady. Upstairs, staff brought a quieter, more personal celebration to our birthday gentleman, complete with a card, cake, and a warm chorus of “Happy Birthday.”
Two different rooms, two special moments—both filled with care, love, and smiles. ❤️

Residents also enjoyed a relaxing pampering session, featuring soothing hand massages and a fresh coat of bright red nail polish. The simple treats brought comfort, conversation, and plenty of happy smiles.💅

Later in the afternoon, the lounge became a cosy setting for meaningful conversation. Residents gathered around small tables, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company as sunlight drifted through the windows.

Moments like these remind us of the strong sense of community that makes life at Marlborough Court so special.💜
