I’m really looking forward to offering you this therapy. TBR 3-step can lift your perinatal trauma symptoms and free you to enjoy life again.

Before I complete my training I need someone willing to work with me as my case study.

If you think this could be something you would benefit from, please do get in touch here or by emailing me: hannah@servinghands.co.uk

And if you know of anyone this might benefit, please share with them.

Many thanks

And just like that… I have two children in double digits!

Thinking back to the day when Ray was born in the birthing pool at home, I can’t believe we’re now here 10 years later.

Going from one to two children was easier than the first time in some ways as we were more confident in what to do with a newborn and much more prepared for the first year of babyhood. It was also more difficult as there was the guilt of splitting your time between two children, not wanting Matilda to feel pushed aside and the logistics of making sure two little ones were fed, sleeping, clean and happy.

And now with each birthday they have it’s becoming more emotional. There’s the pride and excitement, but also the heartache of watching them grow up.

This gorgeous boy has taught us the importance of slowing down, of appreciating the detail in things and that cuddles and your safe space are key to happiness.

Being a parent is wonderfully heartbreaking. Look after yourself as much as you look after them. And learn to ask for help and support x

Have just finished supporting a family during the early weeks of their postnatal period. This was an extra special time as I had also supported them after the birth of their first baby.

It was so lovely to be able to experience and discuss all the differences and similarities between this time and their first. Lots of talking, listening, laundry, holding a sleeping baby and above all, some space and time for Mum.

Plus, I got updated on the sock front! Good bye trainer socks, hello coloured ankle socks. I really do learn something new every time 🥰

Had a visit from the most beautiful little guest today! Came along with her mummy Laura , who had a postnatal massage. The oxytocin was high! Little one slept for the first part meaning that Laura could have a nice back massage laying on her front, something that’s always missed when you’re pregnant. Then when baby woke, we continued the massage in a side lying position so that she could feed. A dreamy combination for both Mummy and baby. What a lovely afternoon. And thank you for the snuggly cuddle too baby girl 💕 x

This lovely client of mine has had a series of scar treatments after her caesarean. She has been practising her massage techniques between sessions, along with pelvic floor exercises, diaphragmatic breathing, and has also started using silicone strips. All of which we discuss as part of scar therapy.

What a huge visible change there is in her scar between April and May! And even a visible difference between the beginning and end of her massage session yesterday where her scar is less red. My client also said she could feel the difference after our treatment yesterday compared to the beginning of the session. Her scar line felt thinner and the area around her scar softer!

Since training as a caesarean scar specialist, I am forever amazed by our bodies. They are so receptive to consistent and frequent bodywork even when this work is for very short periods of time and is often only light touch.

If you think you might benefit from scar therapy, feel free to DM me x

It was such a pleasure to work with this c-section scar therapy client who was committed to investing time in herself. As a result by practising her massage techniques at home daily, between massage appointments, she brought about a great change in her body. She is now able to routinely massage her scar and abdomen confidently knowing, seeing and feeling the continued benefits. So empowering!
