We had a fantastic time celebrating our psychic Halloween event here at Groveland.
We want to say a special thank you to Cara for providing us with a magical evening of mediumship and making our residents and guests happy and at times emotional with their messages from loved ones and some guidance for the future.
A big thank you to our amazing kitchen team who provided us with the most delicious food which everyone enjoyed.

This was such an amazing way to get our residents bodies moving and to learn about archery as a sport. Archery is a sport that includes co-ordination and concentration which our residents bulls eyed!
We want to say a special thank you to Graham, Daniel and Matthew at Clickers Archery for introducing this well loved activity into our home and for donating a brand new beginner pack to us so we can carry on the fun!😃

We enjoyed a lovely day out to The Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum in Ramsgate. 🖼😃☀️

This outing was a real trip to the past for our resident: Peter , who was part of the RAF for years. Peter was thrilled to tell us about his own experiences in the RAF. The residents enjoyed sharing their own memories while sitting in the sun and enjoying some lunch.

We all had a really lovely time enjoying all the interesting memorial pieces that was here and was lovely too see them all chatting and laughing with each other.

The smiles on their faces really show how important these days out are for them.😄

Amazing country music night.
On 17th September our residents thoroughly enjoyed an evening celebrating National Country Music Day. We were overjoyed to have been joined by friends from the community. We had Young and Wise who as usual filled the home with their music. There was dancing, fun and laughter with the odd cowboy hat and "yeeha" thrown in for good measure.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made this evening a memorable one.

The classical-themed evening proved to be a delightful event ✨️

Residents, along with friends of the home, were thoroughly engaged by Harry Kersley's performance, the musical talent of whom was truly captivating. His vocal delivery elicited a significant emotional response from the audience with each note 🎶 An outstanding performance, thank you Harry ✨️

Thank you to all the team for making this evening possible, especially the Kitchen Team who made such delicious canapés and the Bistro Team for their waitress service on the night ✨️
