EDIT (14:38): Our problems appear to be fixed, our system is back up and running.

COMPUTER ISSUES TODAY - Thursday 20th November 2025

We are currently having computer issues, which means we cannot use our clinical system to view your records, make appointments, or issue medication.

This is a regional issue and is affecting many practices around Oxfordshire.

The support team are aware of it and are working on a fix.

In the meantime please do attend your appointment if you have one, but be aware we will not be able to do offer you any appointments or issue prescriptions until this issue is fixed.

Patient Needs Groups, or 'Segmentation'

You may notice a test result appear in your NHS app referring to 'John Hopkins adjusted clinical group system score', or 'Segmentation'.

Segmentation is a simple way of categorising patients based on their specific health needs. It helps us as a Practice understand the individual needs of our patients based on their health and wellbeing to support personalised care and ensures you get the right support in a timely way.

If you need the emergency contraceptive pill, you can now get it free from pharmacies across England — without needing an appointment with your GP or at a sexual health clinic.

WHO’S GETTING THE COVID-19 VACCINATION INVITE?

🦠 Eligibility for Autumn 2025 COVID-19 Vaccinations

We’ve now sent invitations to all our adult patients who can be offered a jab to protect against COVID-19 in this year’s autumn/winter vaccination programme.

✅ This year eligibility for the COVID-19 jab is slightly different and as follows:

• Adults aged 75 and over (including those turning 75 by 31 March 2026)
• People aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system
• Residents of care homes for older adults

Some people who are eligible for a free flu jab may not be offered the COVID-19 vaccination. The flu jab is free to everyone aged over 65 and to book yours please respond to the text that our GP surgery will have sent you and book to have it at Langford Medical Practice soon. Please book using the NHS or Patient Access apps.

Our 9th October jabs clinic is now full but there‘s still availability on other later dates.
