If you - or someone you know - are struggling to use the NHS App, or haven't used it before, or just want a few pointers, come down to the digital cafe where our helpful and friendly volunteers can help you.

We hold these every 3rd Friday of the month. Please spread the word and let those people who may be struggling to use it, or just want to know how to use it, know.

Please bring your own digital device, and x2 proof of ID including photo ID if you need to sign up to the NHS App.

It's not too late for a flu vaccination!

We are holding a drop-in nasal flu clinic for patients under 18 who are at risk and eligible for the nasal flu vaccination, including those patients aged 2-3 years.

The drop-in nasal flu clinic will be at our Langford Surgery, on Wednesday 14th January, from 2pm - 4:30pm.

Bring your child along if they are eligible and haven't had their vaccination yet.

Can't make that date? You can still make an appointment with our nurses, call us to book an appointment.

LANGFORD SHUT, TUES 6th JAN - ongoing electrical issues

Ongoing electrical issues means we're closing Langford Surgery on Tuesday 6th January, as well as today (Monday 5th).

For all patients who had an appointment on Tuesday 6th January at our Langford site, you should have been contacted by us regarding your appointment already. If you haven't had a text or email (check your spam folder as well) from us, or are unsure, you can contact us to confirm.

LANGFORD SHUT - Friday 2nd and Monday 5th January (Electrical issues)

Following on from having to close our Langford Surgery on Friday 2nd January, we've taken the decision to close it on Monday 5th January as well, as we are still having electrical issues and will be unable to run our clinics until they are fixed.

LANGFORD SHUT TODAY - FRIDAY 2nd JANUARY (Electrical issues)

We have had to close our Langford Surgery today Friday 2nd January as we are having electricity issues. This means we are unable to run our clinics.

We've moved all our appointments that were supposed to be at Langford to our Victoria House site, so if you had an appointment at our Langford Surgery today, please come to Victoria House instead.

We apologise for the inconvenience and are working on getting the electrical issues fixed.

All Bicester GP practices are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. However, as usual, there is scheduled local pharmacy opening at certain times on these days. ⤵️

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR

Here are the days that Alchester Medical Group will be open and closed over the Christmas and New Year.

Our main surgery and contact centre is at Victoria House on Buckingham Road in Bicester, OX26 3EU.

Please note that the Langford Medical Practice building will NOT be open on Wednesday 24th December and will remain closed on all following days before reopening on Friday 2nd January 2026.

We are holding a drop-in flu clinic at our Langford Surgery, on Friday 19th December, from 10am - 12:30pm, and 3pm - 4:30pm.

Come along if you are eligible and haven't had your vaccination yet.

Can't make that date? You can still make an appointment with our nurses, call us to book an appointment.
