Hi all,
Jane and I have both tested positive and so have to close the clinic this week.
We went skiing last week, and although we self catered and kept ourselves to ourselves we have managed to contract the virus.
I would say that the aeroplane and transfer bus had lots of people who were not wearing face masks, or were wearing them around their chins.
Sadly, this pandemic is not yet over so we urge people to take care and take precautions still.
I’ll update on when we can re-open when we are both negative. Most likely this will be next week.

Dear all,
AS the NHS faces unprecedented challenges it may be difficult for you to get an appointment, but please be aware that we are open and seeing our patients face to face (as we have manged to do apart from in lockdown 1). We have appointments at present and we try to ensure that you do not need to wait for more than a few days before seeing us.

We are and always have been following strict COVID guidelines as required by our governing body the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) to ensure that we and you stay safe.

We are in full PPE for face to face appointments, and require our patients to wear a mask, we ventilate and clean the room between patients (so it takes a little longer than usual between patients and we therefore ask that you turn up at your allotted time).

If you need an appointment then please call us on 01237 476734. We may be treating patients when you call, so please leave a message and we will call you back when we have a gap.

When we call back we will discuss your problem with you and ask some questions to start to understand what might be causing your problem, we ask some routine questions about your general health and COVID status. This takes about 15-20 mins and once complete we can book you a face to face appointment.

Hi all
At Northam Physiotherapy we will be continuing to ensure that our patients are safe from COVID by maintaining the same PPE, cleaning and appointment spacing that we have used through the pandemic.

Hi all,
If you require an appointment please can you call us on 01237 486734 and leave a clear message with name and contact number.
We seem to be having quite a few people messaging through FB for an appointment, but we need to speak with you before we can do that.
The guidelines we need to follow at the moment require us to have a telephone call with you to discuss your problem and screen for any COVID symptoms, this takes about 20 minutes. Once we have done this, and confirmed no COVID risk we can then try to find a convenient face to face appointment for you.
This is so that we minimise the time you are with us face to face.
Note that if you get the answer phone it may be that we are busy with patients and are unable to answer at that time, but leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we are able.

Dear all
We are able to remain open for business during this lockdown, which includes face to face appointments. We are closely following advice by our governing body and complying with PPE as we have been throughout.
1st appointments will need a telephone call 1st, which reduces the time that you would be with us.
