As we start getting closer to spring and summer, many people begin to notice areas where the skin on the body doesn’t feel quite as firm or smooth as it once did.

This can happen naturally with time, but it’s also something people often notice after losing weight, when the skin doesn’t always bounce back as quickly as we’d like.

Common areas patients mention are the underarms, tummy and the skin just above the knees — places where the skin can start to look a little thinner or slightly crepey.

One treatment that can help improve skin quality in these areas is Profhilo Body.

Unlike treatments that add volume, this works by delivering a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin while deeply hydrating the tissue. The aim is to improve skin elasticity, hydration and overall texture.

The Profhilo Body protocol includes:
• Two treatments spaced one month apart
• A specially designed body syringe with a higher concentration of product
• A supporting cream used during the treatment course
• Healing patches applied afterwards to support the skin

It’s particularly suited to areas where skincare alone often isn’t enough to improve the quality of the skin.

I’m treating a patient with this today for the underarm area, which is one of the most popular areas for this treatment.

Results develop gradually and naturally over the following weeks as collagen production increases and the skin becomes more hydrated and elastic.

Most people know about Profhilo for the face… but did you know there was a body version?

I decided to put the Focus Dual HIFU treatment to the test on my own profile… and I’m genuinely blown away by the definition at the 10-week mark.

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) works by delivering focused ultrasound energy deep into the skin, stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. Over the following weeks, the skin gradually tightens and lifts — which is why the results just keep improving.

What I love most?

✨ No needles
✨ No surgery
✨ No downtime
✨ Just one session

For busy women who want subtle, natural-looking definition without putting life on hold, this is such a powerful option.

As a doctor, I would never offer a treatment I wouldn’t feel confident having myself. The jawline definition and tightening under my chin feels fresher, more sculpted — but still completely me.

If you’ve been wondering whether skin tightening can really make a difference to your lower face, this is your sign to explore it properly with medical guidance.

What do you think of the difference? I’d love to know 👇

I get asked this all the time… what would you actually do for your own under-eyes?

As a GP, aesthetic doctor and 48-year-old mum of three, I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatments — especially in such a delicate area.

If hollowness in the tear trough was my main concern, I’d choose carefully placed dermal filler to soften that shadow and reduce the tired look.

If the whole under-eye felt a little deflated or crepey, I’d lean towards a skin booster. A touch of hyaluronic acid for hydration and plumpness, plus added ingredients to refresh and improve texture.

But if it was skin quality that bothered me — pigmentation, sun damage, laxity — and I was happy to be patient? I’d choose polynucleotides. They work at a cellular level to gradually improve the skin itself, even on the eyelids. The key word is gradual.

Different concern. Different strategy.

If this helped you understand your options a little better, like and follow for more honest, medical-led skin advice.

I never thought I’d say this, but this was a goosebumps moment…

A patient flew all the way from Canada to see me 🇨🇦✈️

Not for a holiday. Not for family. For treatment.

She’s been following my YouTube education and decided she wanted a medical-led approach to collagen stimulation — something that isn’t currently available where she lives.

We treated her with Profhilo for overall skin quality and collagen support, alongside Plinest polynucleotides under the eyes to improve tissue health and regeneration.

I genuinely feel so honoured. When someone travels that far, it’s about trust — and that’s something I never take lightly.

Now, here’s the important part: regenerative treatments aren’t one-and-done. They typically require a course for optimal results. We had a full conversation about this, but she wanted to experience the treatment first and then decide her next steps — and that’s exactly how it should be. Informed choice always comes first.

If you’ve been watching quietly and wondering whether a collagen-focused plan is right for you, maybe it’s time to book a consultation and have the conversation properly.

Here are my skin analysis images from 2024 vs. now.

These are ‘Daylight’ images without any external shadows, captured by the Observ skin analyser to give a true, unfiltered look at the skin’s surface.

When I look at my scans from July 2024 to today, the story isn’t about a radical overhaul. It’s about how consistent, right-fit rejuvenation treatments and a steady routine can actually improve skin quality over time—even while we face daily environmental insults and natural changes in our face shape.

2024: Looking back, I can see the uneven skin texture across my forehead and cheeks where my skin was more reactive to its environment.

2026: Now, my complexion is much more even. Despite some weight loss noted in the 2026 scan—which naturally changes the facial structure and shadows—the skin itself is significantly smoother and more resilient especially under eyes.

Here’s a reminder that our skin is a living organ. It doesn’t need to be “fixed”—it just needs to be supported to thrive for the long term.

After injecting for over 8 years, I still don’t call myself an “advanced” practitioner 🛑🎓
Because in medical aesthetics, the standard keeps evolving.

There isn’t a finish line. Techniques improve. Safety protocols update. Our understanding of anatomy deepens. What felt cutting-edge a few years ago can always be refined further.

That’s why I’m back in the training chair today.

Your safety and your results deserve more than experience alone — they deserve the most up-to-date, considered approach possible.

My promise to my patients:
Never stagnant. I continue to refine safety protocols so you are always in capable, informed hands.

Always refining. The natural results you see in the final slides don’t happen by chance — they come from years of experience combined with ongoing education and attention to detail.

Preparation over titles. Credentials matter, but continual learning matters more.

I don’t use the word “advanced” because I believe growth should never stop. My responsibility is to be better today than I was yesterday — for every patient who trusts me.

When you’ve been checking the app every day and it suddenly says “chance of sunshine”—you take it☀️

It started grey. Proper British “why did we bother?” energy. But we wandered around Bath anyway. When we got to Royal Victoria Park, the sun actually showed up.

I think sometimes we wait for perfect conditions before we do the thing—the trip, the plan, the memory. But this weekend reminded me that sometimes the “slight chance” is all you need.

My cup is full ❤️
