🤷♀️ How have our Pilates classes positively impacted your overall health and well-being?
Before I started Pilates, I was really struggling. Following surgery I had gone from being extremely active to barely being able to do any of the things I loved because of pain and limitations. Pilates has been a turning point. It’s helped me rebuild strength, stability and confidence in a way that feels safe for my hip. It’s even helped me get back into mountain biking which I’m going to be competing in next year.
🤷♀️ How do you feel at the end of a class?
I always leave feeling calmer and more connected to my body. My hips feel looser, my core feels strong and my mind feels clearer. Even on hard days, I walk out feeling proud that I showed up for myself.
🤷♀️ How have our instructors contributed to your enjoyment?
The studio feels welcoming, supportive and non-judgemental, which makes such a difference when you’re managing pain and limitations. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging and always offer helpful adaptations so I can work safely without feeling singled out. Their teaching style and small class number makes the classes enjoyable, challenging and accessible. I genuinely look forward to coming each time.
🤷♀️ What would you say to someone considering Pilates but hesitant?
I’d say to just give it a good try - you don’t need to be flexible, strong or experienced to begin. Animated Physio meets you exactly where you are, and you’ll feel supported from the first session. It’s gentle on the joints but incredibly effective and the benefits build quickly. If you’re hesitant, (like I was) you’re probably exactly the kind of person who will be pleasantly surprised by how good it feels!
