JOB OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the position of Specialist Therapy Assistant.
This is a permanent post (37.5 hours per week).
Previous experience in a health care setting is essential and experience of working in a rehabilitation setting will be advantageous. Driving will be essential in order to fulfil the requirements of this role.
You will work with clients with neurological conditions including brain and spinal cord injury and therefore must have exceptional communication skills.
Will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.

As therapists there’s so many rewarding aspects of our job, one of the things we love the most are the bonds that we create with some of our long term clients, sadly it hits hard too when we lose a member of our Tees Neuro ‘family’ … today we said a lovely goodbye to our client, friend & all round gentleman ‘Mal’ …. we send his lovely wife Debbie all of our love, thoughts & strength.. ❤️
Mal always had a smile on his face & a catchphrase or two that we will always remember … “I’m an athlete me” & “I can’t stop laughing” but to name a few… we will definitely remember Mal fondly .. ⭐️

Robotic suite …..

Another little snapshot from our time at Tees Neuro Physiotherapy Ltd last week trying out the MTT disabled access devices, including the LEXO, Amadeo, Myro and Tyrostation by Tyromotion, for their new service, Tees Neuro Therapy Training

These will help focus more on the patient's strength and conditioning to compliment the Neuro Physio work.

The devices provide a safe an accessible way to work out which would not be possible for many of these clients in a regular gym. The service will also include the option for personal training with an experienced PT.

The services operates like a gym with patients able to subscribe and attend at a frequency they can manage. During this time they will be under the care of a Physiotherapist and will be able to access progress assessments.

This will be a game-changer for so many so we can't wait to share more about this incredible service...

👏 2025 is going to be such a great year 💚

Many of you may be aware that we are moving clinic with our amazing colleagues at Tees Neuro Physiotherapy Ltd, and earlier this month we said’watch this space for further exciting updates’ (and Victoria is sharing hers thick and fast 🤣)

Occupational therapy, for us, is the assessment and treatment of neurological injury / disability and the impact this has on our clients functional skills and occupational performance.

Many moons ago, there was such a thing as an independant living suite / assessment centre and sadly funds for this, across the region, were no more, and one by one they sadly closed down… so

💚💚WE ARE BRINGING THEM BACK 💚💚

Many of our clients are not in accessible properties and are disempowered by their own environments ☹️ which makes putting ‘new skills into practice’ very difficult. Whilst they await a new property / and / or adaptation, we will have the ability to do this in our very own dedicated space 👏🏼👍🏻

I am so very proud of the journey Vic and I have been on since we became independent therapists .. the unwavered dedication from our teams 💙💚 and the associates we work alongside, are helping to make all this possible and we are eternally grateful.

We will be updating you further as work begins, so once again, watch this space ☺️
