Congratulations to Neve Doods who took bronze at the Riga European Hopes Cup. The first British girl to ever medal at one of these events 🇬🇧💪🏼
The first picture is a girl, full of determination and the second picture is a smile of success after years of hard work have paid off.
To get to this level which has enabled Neve to compete against the best of the best in Europe, Neve trains 5 - 6 times a week which also includes strength & conditioning which is tailored to judo and injury prevention.
In the early days of Neve’s judo journey, Neve noticed that she didn’t feel as strong as some of the other girls she competed against.
In 2022, Tees Valley Judo formed a partnership with Teesside Centre Of Health and Performance (TCHP) to provide specialist S&C. Neve has attended weekly S&C sessions at TCHP, with her brother Callum and friend Evelyn for three years, it has been brilliant to see them develop as athletes and as people.
If you’d like anymore information about TCHP, or would like to book an appointment with him, please contact us via our social media pages or our website.
