57 High Street isn’t just Meadows Wellbeing...
It was once a bank! The building still holds its original massive safe door, a nod to its past life. Jon transformed the space into a modern wellbeing centre, blending its historic charm with calming therapy rooms for Osteopathy, reflexology, reiki, sports therapy, herbal medicine, massage and more.
Billingshurst itself has roots stretching back to Saxon times, “the wooded hill of Billa’s people,” and grew along the Roman Stane Street. From St Mary’s Church (just behind Meadows Wellbeing!) in the 12th century to its timber-framed high street, the village evolved from quiet farmland to a thriving community shaped by the Wey and Arun Canal, the railway, and historic coaching inns.
Meadows Wellbeing is perfectly located with car parks near by and a short walk from the train station - making it easy for anyone to come to visit, unwind, and soak in both wellbeing and local history.
