✨🎄 A Magical Christmas Switch-On at Hampton Court! 🎄✨

Yesterday it was Hampton Court’s turn to shine as we celebrated our Annual Christmas Light Switch-On — and what an enchanting afternoon it was!

Our festive parade was bursting with colour and Christmas cheer, featuring a giant Gingerbread Man, our friendly Reindeer mascot, and lots of cheeky elves as the whole home joined in with the Alzheimer's Society Dress Like an Elf Day. 🧝‍♀️🧝‍♂️✨
The sea of jingling hats and pointy shoes brought so much joy to residents and families alike!

And this year’s extra-special surprise…
we welcomed the most charming Christmas donkeys to join the celebrations! 🫏💕
They stole everyone’s hearts and made the afternoon even more magical. Thank you to Donkey EARS.

The atmosphere was full of warmth, laughter and festive spirit, and we want to say a big thank you to our wonderful staff team and amazing residents for making it such a special day.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious Christmas sherry and mince pies — the perfect festive treat.

🛍️A Little Retail Therapy for Margaret! 🎄✨

This week, we were thrilled to arrange a special trip for our lovely resident Margaret to enjoy some Christmas shopping at Matalan – one of her absolute favourite shops! ❤️

Many of our residents miss the independence of being able to pop out to the shops, so it was truly wonderful to support Margaret in enjoying a bit of retail therapy and getting organised for the festive season.

Seeing her face light up as she browsed the aisles reminded us just how important these everyday moments are. 💛

Here’s to making more meaningful outings and memories for our residents! 🎁🌟

🎄✨ Christmas Card Competition Winner Announced! ✨🎄

We’re delighted to share that the winner of the Alpha Health Care Christmas Card Competition is Thomas from Lower Farm Primary School! 🎉 His wonderful, festive design will feature on our official Christmas card this year — and we can’t wait to send them out!

A huge well done to our brilliant runners-up, Ava and Sophie, also from Lower Farm Primary School. 👏💫

Thank you to all the talented children who took part and shared their creativity with us — your designs brought so much joy to our residents. And a special thank you to our wonderful residents who had the tough job of choosing the winner!

🌺 Our Remember November Continues at Hampton Court 🌺

Our Remember November month of remembrance continues, and our residents at Hampton Court Care Home have been spending time reflecting and sharing memories of loved ones who served.

One of our residents, Gary, has created a beautiful drawing as a heartfelt tribute to his brother, who was a sailor. This piece is dedicated to his memory and to all those who served at sea. ⚓️❤️

🎃👻 Spooky Fun at Hampton Court Care Home! 👻🎃

Our residents and team had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween this year! From pumpkin carving and spooky decorations to ghoulish games and treats, there were smiles (and a few playful scares!) all around. 🕸️🧙‍♀️🕷️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and supported our Halloween Raffle — your generosity helps us continue to create magical moments for our residents throughout the year. 💜✨
