I personally know at least 5 people on GLP-1 Therapy for Weight Loss.

But it is also known to be accompanied by digestive unrest and other unsavoury symptoms 🤢

One of my clients has been using my GLP Ease blend of 3 scientifically studied cultures with positive effects, which can include a reduction in nausea, stabilising number twos, and a reduction in bloating.

I'll have some available next week in Mandy's Deli Birchington, great for overall digestive health, but especially useful during GLP-1 treatment!

Suffer with aching JOINTS?

Inflammation and discomfort, such as that seen in rheumatoid arthritis, is increasingly linked to imbalances in the gut microbiome. Beneficial bacteria play a crucial role in regulating immune responses and maintaining the integrity of the gut lining, two key factors in controlling systemic inflammation.

When the gut barrier is compromised or microbial diversity is reduced, inflammatory signals can become overactive, contributing to joint pain, swelling, and fatigue. By restoring microbial balance, probiotics can help calm these immune responses and support long-term inflammatory health.

Here’s how targeted probiotics can help reduce inflammation:

1. immune activity: Certain strains help regulate cytokine production, reducing the overactive immune responses that drive inflammation.

2. Strengthen the gut barrier: Probiotics support the integrity of the intestinal lining, preventing the leakage of inflammatory triggers into the bloodstream.

3. Promote anti-inflammatory compounds: Beneficial bacteria produce short-chain fatty acids like butyrate, which have powerful anti-inflammatory effects throughout the body.

❓Do you think your microbiome might be out of sync?

👉Consider adding a variety of fermented foods to your diet such as kimchi, kefir or yoghurt to your daily meals, try it for a week and see how you feel!

If you suffer from unexplained digestive issues such as bloating, constipation, or sudden trips to the loo, this tailored consultation programme could be the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for. Combining personalised nutrition advice with targeted probiotic and prebiotic strategies, the protocol takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to uncovering the root causes of IBS symptoms and restoring long-term digestive wellbeing.

Here’s how the programme supports your transition:

1. Understanding your food triggers starts with nutrition: Many people know which foods cause discomfort but don’t understand why, or how to replace them. This programme helps you uncover hidden sources of wheat, gluten, and grain by-products that often go unnoticed. These ingredients can damage the gut lining and fuel inflammation. You’ll learn how to swap them for nourishing, gut-friendly alternatives that support healing and reduce symptoms.

2. Rebalancing your microbiome requires targeted probiotics: Gut flora plays a central role in digestion, immunity, and mood. You will be guided in selecting the right strains to calm inflammation, reduce bloating, and restore microbial diversity. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all supplement for general digestive health, it’s a personalised approach to rebuilding your gut from the inside out.

3. Feeding your good bacteria means embracing prebiotics: Prebiotics are often overlooked, yet they’re essential for sustaining beneficial microbes. You’ll learn how to incorporate prebiotic-rich foods that support gut repair and reduce sensitivity, helping to create a more stable and resilient digestive environment over time.

To explore how gut-focused nutrition and probiotics can transform your digestive health naturally and safely, consider booking a personalised consultation at my Clinic at Quex Craft Village. You’ll receive tailored advice and support to rebalance your microbiome and turn your health around. Call by to find out more, alternatively you can book online at gutguruofkent.uk.

A certain bacterial strain of L.reuteri has been shown to support BONE DENSITY by naturally boosting oxytocin levels, a hormone that plays a key role in bone regeneration and mineral absorption!

Higher oxytocin levels can stimulate bone-building activity, making this culture especially valuable for those concerned about bone health. What’s more, it can be fermented into a thick, creamy yoghurt packed with hundreds of billions of CFUs, amplifying its impact on your skeletal strength!

Top Tip: If you currently make yoghurt, consider adding this specific culture to your next batch to not only nourish your gut, but fortify your bones from the inside out! Come and visit me at my Clinic in Quex Craft Village to find out more.

The 'Super Gut' blend is a targeted probiotic formula designed to support those struggling with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and adult-onset food intolerances. It contains a unique mix of strategically selected bacterial strains that work synergistically in the small intestine, where they produce natural antibiotics to suppress harmful microbes. This helps restore microbial balance, reduce digestive discomfort, and improve tolerance to a wider range of foods.

Here’s how it helps with food intolerances linked to SIBO:

1. Suppresses pathogenic bacteria in the small intestine: SIBO occurs when bacteria that should remain in the colon (bowel) migrate upward into the small intestine, disrupting digestion and triggering food sensitivities. The strains in this blend produce bacteriocins, natural antimicrobial compounds, that help prevent this migration and reduce the population of problematic microbes.

2. Reduces fermentation-related symptoms: When excess pathogenic bacteria ferment certain fibres in the small intestine, it can lead to bloating, gas, and discomfort, this can be especially noticeable within a short time after consuming troublesome foods. By limiting these bacteria, the 'Super Gut' blend helps reduce embarrassing symptoms like bloating and flatulence, making meals more enjoyable and less stressful.

3. Improves tolerance to trigger foods: Many people with SIBO develop sensitivities to foods they once tolerated well, such as dairy, gluten, or certain fruits and vegetables. By restoring microbial balance and calming inflammation, this probiotic blend can help retrain the gut to process these foods more effectively, reducing reactions and expanding dietary freedom.

The power of the gut and DIABETES 👇

Managing diabetes isn’t just about blood sugar, it’s also about gut health. Beneficial bacteria in the microbiome play a key role in regulating glucose metabolism, improving insulin sensitivity, and reducing systemic inflammation.

By influencing the production of short-chain fatty acids and interacting with the immune system, certain probiotic strains can help stabilise blood sugar levels and support metabolic balance, making them a valuable tool in diabetes care.

Here’s how targeted probiotics can support diabetes management:

1. Improve insulin sensitivity: Certain strains help reduce insulin resistance by lowering inflammation and enhancing glucose uptake.

2. Balance blood sugar levels: Beneficial bacteria can slow carbohydrate absorption and promote more stable post-meal glucose responses.

3. Support weight and lipid control: Probiotics may help regulate appetite and improve cholesterol profiles, both important for managing type 2 diabetes.

❓Do you think your microbiome might be out of sync?

👉Consider adding a variety of fermented foods to your diet such as kimchi, kefir or yoghurt to your daily meals, try it for a week and see how you feel!

Do you suffer restrictive FOOD INTOLERANCES?

Your small intestine, stretching around 20 feet, is designed to host only a minimal number of microbes, as it’s the primary site for nutrient absorption.

However, when bacteria from the colon migrate upward and settle in the small intestine, a condition known as SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) can develop!

This imbalance can lead to food intolerances, bloating, and uncomfortable distention, especially after meals. It’s a common but often overlooked contributor to digestive distress.

✅Top Tip: If this sounds familiar, explore natural SIBO strategies such as targeted probiotic foods and temporary dietary changes until the underlying intolerance is resolved.

This handcrafted yoghurt is cultured with Bacillus Coagulans, a probiotic strain known for its ability to ease gastrointestinal and systemic inflammation.

It's particularly beneficial for those experiencing joint discomfort linked to autoimmune conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues.

Here’s how it supports you:

1. Helps regulate immune response and reduce inflammation: In autoimmune conditions like RA, the body’s immune system misfires, attacking healthy cells as if they were threats. Bacillus Coagulans helps modulate this response by influencing the release of inflammatory chemicals, potentially reducing swelling, pain, and stiffness in joints and tissues.

2. Produces natural antibiotics called bacteriocins: These beneficial compounds actively suppress harmful microorganisms in the gut that may trigger or worsen inflammation. By limiting these opportunistic invaders, the yoghurt helps maintain a healthier microbial balance, which is crucial for calming immune overactivity.

3. Supports gut integrity and systemic balance: A healthy gut acts as a barrier and regulator for immune signals. By strengthening the gut lining and promoting beneficial bacteria, this yoghurt contributes to a more stable internal environment, one that’s less prone to inflammatory flare-ups and better equipped to support joint and overall body comfort.

Do you constantly struggle with ‘dieting’?

There is a reason for this...they are hard!!

I can help transform you from an unhappy dieter, who is constantly unsuccessful with reducing food content and unknowingly damaging her health into a happy and contented woman who loves her food without the guilt, feels comfortable in her clothes and improves her health at the same time.

When you stop restricting your food intake, and start focusing on the quality of the food consumed rather than the quantity, great things can happen! You can eat more and lose weight...I did.

I used to restrict my food, and when I did eat, it was either low calorie this or low fat that just to keep within a certain limit. I felt continuously peckish and I still carried extra weight, I could not figure this one out. I was also forever catching colds and constantly suffered with IBS, once to the point of hospitalisation.
