The surgery will be closed due to the Protected Learning Time on Wednesday 15th October 2025 between 1.00p.m. – 6.30 p.m.

If you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please telephone 111 or visit NHS111 online to access the out-of-hours service.

NHS111 is free to call from both landlines and mobiles.

Please note the Walk In Smear Clinic at St Catherine’s Surgery will also be closed on this date for the same reason.

Local Smoking Cessation Service ABL Smoking and Ni****ne Cessation Clinics offer free, confidential advice to people considering quitting smoking. You can call them on 0151 541 5656, text ABL to 60777 or e-mail wiccg.ablwirral@nhs.net to find out details of their drop-in clinics and specialist help.

There's also lots of information about aids such as ni****ne-free medicines, ni****ne replacement therapies and va**ng, available at nhs.uk/better-health/quit-smoking. Together, we can do this.
