We’re pleased to share an update on the ongoing renovation of our reception/admin office!

A lot has changed in the last 2 weeks including a temporary home for front reception staff.

Exciting Free Support for Your COPD!

There is a new My mhealth app – a free, easy-to-use app that helps you manage your COPD from home. You can download it on your smartphone, tablet, or log in on your computer. It’s designed to be simple, even if you’re not confident with technology.

Within 72 hours of downloading, a friendly Digital Health Adviser will contact you to help you get started and make the most of it. Complete the my mhealth app self registration form below.

Important: My mhealth app is not a replacement for pulmonary rehabilitation. If you’ve been referred for rehab, please still attend – using the app alongside rehab can help improve your breathing and health even more.

The Living Well Service

The schedule below shows when the NHS Living Well Service bus will be on the Wirral over during autumn / winter. The clinical team will be offering flu and COVID-19 vaccinations as well as all routine vaccinations to eligible adults and children, health checks and wellbeing conversations.

The bus is accessible to wheelchair users. Please let the team know of any additional reasonable adjustments that you may need and we’ll be happy to help. To contact the team – please call 01244 393172.

🚧 Reception Refurbishment Starts Today! 🚧

We’re excited to let you know that building work in our reception area starts today (3rd November). The space hasn’t had an update since the 1980s, so it’s well overdue a refresh!

During the works, things might be a little noisier than usual, and our reception team will be working hard in less-than-ideal conditions — please be patient and kind while we make these improvements.

We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses — thank you for your understanding and support! 💙

The surgery will be closed due to the Protected Learning Time on Wednesday 15th October 2025 between 1.00p.m. – 6.30 p.m.

If you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please telephone 111 or visit NHS111 online to access the out-of-hours service.

NHS111 is free to call from both landlines and mobiles.

Please note the Walk In Smear Clinic at St Catherine’s Surgery will also be closed on this date for the same reason.
