‼️🚨🔔Calling all Wirral youngsters 11-18 years old!
Do you love being outside in the wild? Are you interested in spending time in the woods, learning about nature, how to keep warm and cook 🔥How to use tools snd identify plants snd wildlife? Do you want to get involved in conservation? Are you based on the Wirral??
If any of these sound like you, book on to Youth in Nature at Bidston Hill right now!
Tomorrow morning’s session still has space and we would love to see more young people join us 🌿✨
These free sessions are led by our qualified Forest School Leader, Kris, they are free, and they are the perfect place for any nature-loving young person to start building real outdoor skills. It could be the first step in a junior forrester journey for your young person 🌱🔥
Youth in Nature is hands-on, practical and full of opportunities. From fire lighting, shelter building and tool work to nature ID, climate action and community gardening, every session helps young people grow in confidence, capability and connection 🌳🪵🌍
One of our previous attendees even went on to volunteer with Grow Wellbeing, and as the group grows we plan to develop a Youth Leadership Group to support those showing strong leadership or peer mentoring skills 🌟
If your young person loves the outdoors or wants to find out what this could lead to, this is their chance to step in, explore and begin their journey 🧭💚
We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and will let everyone know if we have to cancel tomorrows session due to the conditions - but so far it looks absolutely fine and we are definitely going ahead - wear appropriate clothing!
These sessions are free of charge and supported by Awards For All and the National Lottery 🎉
Book for tomorrow morning and join us on Bidston Hill. These are regular sessions and take place every two weeks!
Spaces are limited to 12.
