🌹 Friday the 13th — The Day of the Goddess 🌹

Long before horror films and superstition…

Friday the 13th was sacred.

Friday is named after Freyja — the Norse Goddess of love, fertility, magic and sovereignty.
In Roman tradition, Friday was associated with Venus — the divine feminine, beauty, pleasure and creation.

And 13?

13 is the number of the feminine.
There are 13 moon cycles in a year.
Women’s bodies move in 13 cycles.
It is the number of intuition, death & rebirth, transformation.

So what happened?

Patriarchal systems turned feminine power into something to fear.
The number 13 became “unlucky.”
Wise women became “witches.”
Sacred feminine power became “dangerous.”

But here’s the truth…

✨ Friday the 13th is a portal of feminine awakening.
✨ It is a day of intuitive power.
✨ A day to reclaim sovereignty.
✨ A day to honour the goddess within you.

This isn’t a day to fear.

It’s a day to remember who you are.
